Peachy Keen 3D Birthday Challenge

Hello to all my crafty friends!!

I have being having so much fun learning

and playing with my brand new Cameo!!

I joined a great FB group my bloggy friend

Teresa from http://createenjoyshare.blogspot.com/

told me about.  It is called Cameo Friends,

and they are a great group of people

that share their knowledge of all things Cameo.

They have all kinds of tutorials and if you post

a question, someone is always quick to answer.

Anyway, I made this simple little gift box

for my hubby's birthday.  He always kind of

loses out because his birthday is June 17th,

which is always close to Father's Day.

This year his birthday is the day after!!

Anyway, I made him a Father's Day card too

which I will post next!!

I made this box to enter the Peachy Keen

Challenge 13-23 :: 3-D Objects :: Birthday

The baseball and bat are from

Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons

The font for the Happy Birthday is

called EA Sports and I downloaded

it for free from http://www.dafont.com/

After watching one video, I was easily

able to download the font and then

weld the letters together!!

The cute little faces are from

Peachy Keens Simple Simons Assortment.

My hubby wears glasses, that is why

I chose that face for the ball!!

Now for the fun part!!

After watching a few good videos

I was able to print and cut

a few images from my husband's

favorite team the Los Angeles Angels!!

The baseball diamond was from the SIL store.

I know this is a pretty plain, no frills kind of

project, but I had to keep in mind that

it was for my hubby, so I hope he loves it!!

I am going to fill it with a few of his favorite candies.
