A Spring Bouquet

Hello and Happy Friday!!

In case you didn't know, Craftin Desert Divas is now

carrying sequins. The were released with the April Release last week.

Today, Tara is adding several new types of sequins today and

I think you are going to love them!! You can see all the

new sequins in the picture above or in the shop HERE

Over on the CDD Blog today, several of the DT members are

sharing projects using some of the new sequins.

I used the Spring Bouquet Sequins on my card today.

I wanted to do something other than a shaker card to show

that you can use sequins even if you don't do shaker cards!!

I used one of the cute little bears from the

Blooming for You Stamp Set as well as the sentiment.
I colored the bear and the background using my Spectrum Noir Markers
and the paper and sprinkles are from Doodlebug.

Craft It Up & Link It Up Blue and White Linky Party

And now for my project:

I had to start off 2015 with one of my favorite

products (besides CDD Stamps :))

I used Julie Nuttings Prima Doll Stamps,

This one is called "Candie"

I colored her using my Spectrum Noir

markers, and paper pieced her dress.

I used Peachy Keen's Christmas Character Faces.

The flowers and the little paper clip are from Prima.

I also added some pearl bling from Want to Scrap.

I picked the perfect sentiment from
Blooming for You and stamped it
onto a Tag from the Tag It Stamp and SVG set.

Can't wait to see what you create!!

And now for my projects....

I decided to make some back to school bookmarks for my 5 grandkids.
The first 3 are for my granddaughters. For each bookmark
I used both a sentiment and an image for the new stamps.

For this first one I used School Zone.
I paper pieced the apple and worm.

For this one I used Blooming for You.

I used the free SVG file for both the sentiment

and the bear, I even created an offset.

I paper pieced the flowers and the bears muzzle.

For this last one, I used the super sweet Freebie stamp

everyone will receive with a minimum order of 2 stamps sets.

I stamped the bear on watercolor paper and used

watercolor pencils and a water brush to color him in.

All paper used on all 3 bookmarks is Doodlebug.
