Card Creating Tuesday - Use Heat Embossing

Today is

For today's project, we could use the
provided sketch, or use heat embossing.
I chose to use heat embossing for my card today.

I used the following supplies:

Celebrate with Flourish Cricut Cartridge
Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art Cartridge
Al La Mode Embossing Powders
Corrdinations Cardstock
PP is from Papercraft
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
My Craft Spot Crinkle Ribbon
Glitter Cardstock
Glimmer Mist
Close to My Heart "Easter Eggs" Stamp Set
Versamark Dazzle Ink Pad

I started off by stamping several different
Easter Eggs from the CTMH stamp set.
I love this set because it has about 12 different
stamps with different patterned eggs.
I stamped them all on white cardstock.
I then applied embossing powder in several pastel colors.
I used my heat gun to heat up the embossing powder.

Next, I sprtized each of the eggs with
Glimmer Mist in the coordinating color to
the embossing powder.  I cut each of the eggs out.

I cut the easter basket and all it's layers from
Celebrate with Flourish at 4.5"
I used a basket weave Cuttlebug folder on the basket.
I cut the eggs down to size so they would fit in the basket.
The sentiment was cut from
Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art at 2".

Theme Day Thursday - Cartridge - Elegant Edges

For today's Theme Day Thursday, we could make a
Seasame Street project or use the Elegant Edges cartridge.
I chose to use Elegant Edges since I do not yet
own any of the Seasame Streets cartridges!!

For this card the two base images are from Elegant Edges.
I thought the layer with the sun cutout
would be perfect for using with my new
Peachy Keen February Stamp of the month.
The first layer was cut at 5.69"w x 4.65" h
The layer with the sun was cut at 4.23"w x 5.4"h
I embossed this layer with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder
The clouds were cut from Create a Critter at 2"
I added some yellow stickles to the sun

The pattern paper was from my scrap pile,
so not sure where it's from!!
All other paper is Coordinations.

Here is a close up of the rainbow which
I stamped and cut out from
Peachy Keen's February stamp of the month set.
I colored the rainbow with my Stampin' Up markers.
As you can see, my coloring has a long way to go!!
I covered the entire rainbow with Glossy Accents to make it shiny.
I embossed the clouds with Cuttlebug's Divine Swirls folder.
The face stamp is from the same Peachy Keen set.

I finished  my card off by tying some twine at the top and adding a sentiment from
My Creative Time's "Teeny Tag Greetings" die and stamp set.
I inked all the edges with my brand new
Sweetheart Inkers from We R Memory Keepers.
I am loving these inkers!!

I just love using action wobbles on my cards

The entire image and all the layers were cut at 4".
The action wobble was attached to the dolphin.
Here is a short video show how he wobbles!
Sorry don't know why it is sideways and I could not rotate it!!

I used the following supplies:

Pack Your Bags Cricut Cartridge
Imaginise - Splash Dance Paper
Coordinations Cardstock
Spellbinders - Curved Rectangles
My Pink Stamper - Even More Punnylicious
Martha Stewart Border Punch
Action Wobble
Crinkle Ribbon

Theme Day Thursday - Wedding

Today is
If you have not guessed, today's theme is WEDDING!!

My inspiration for this card was a card I saw at Bed, Bath and Beyond.  I love the way the card had gems to simulate the champagne bubbles.  When I saw it, I knew I wanted to do the same thing!!

For this card I used Art Philosophy, Sweethearts and 3 Birds on Parade.

The card base and label were cut from Art Philosophy at 5"
The champagne glasses were cut from Sweethearts at 2.70" H
It is hard to tell in the photos, but I used clear plastic
packaging to cut the base layer of the glasses.
I used the deep cut plate to cut the plastic and the glitter paper.
The sentiment was cut from 3 Birds on Parade at .55" H
I used Coordinations, DCWV and glitter cardstock.
I added the gem bubbles and some glitter tulle.
I also used 2 different embossing folders,
one is Sizzix and the other is Cuttlebug.

Theme Day Thursday - BLING

Today is
over at My Cricut Craft Room, and today's theme is

  Bling Bling Baby

As I was sitting in my craft room, trying to
think of an idea, I saw this

I bought this cute shoe plaque to hang in my craft room as it is the same colors as my room.
I used this shoe as my inspiration for my card today!!
I knew I had the perfect paper to replicate this shoe!!

I usually make 5 x 7 cards, but I decided to make this card a standard A2 size. All the paper I used was from my scrap pile.  The background paper is Coordinations Whitewash cardstock in pink.  I embossed it using a Sizzix folder and then sanded it so the pink comes through.
I also distressed the edges using my CTMH edge distresser.
The shoe was cut from Forever Young.
I used the pair of shoes from page 54, I just hid one of the shoes using my Gypsy.
The shoe and all layers were cut at 4"
Here is a close up of the shoe.
What do you think, did I capture my inspiration??

For the label, I used Elegant Edges, the image was from page 67.  I manipulated it with my Gypsy to cut at 1.56" w x 3.3" h, and turned it on it's side.

The sentiment is from My Creative Times
"Classy & Fabulous" stamp set.
I added a little twine, some ribbon, and lots of bling!!

I sure hope you enjoyed my card today, and please make sure you step on over to My Cricut Craft Room to see what the rest of the wonderful design team has created today!!

For my projects today I used, Accent Essentials, Animal Kingdom and All Mixed Up.

This first card was made with Accent Essentials.
For this card, I used my gypsy to weld two of the scalloped squares from page 78 to form my card base.  These were cut at 5", the frame is is on the same page and also cut at 5"
The flower was from page 77.  I used my gypsy to seperate each layer and I cut each layer from a different pattern paper.  I spritzed each layer wil Pearl Glimmer mist and curled the edges then joined them all together with a green glitter brad.  I used a Glue Dot to attach to the card.  I used 2 different Cuttelebug folders to emboss the card base and frame.  The smiling flowers is from Simply Charmed companion folders, and the leaf one I believe is from Preserves.  I added a little inking and some twine.  I purposely left off a sentiment, that way I can use it for any occasion!!

For this next card, I used Animal Kingdom.
For Valentine's Day I bought each of my grandkids a cute little box of Animal Crackers from Walmart.
They are each a different animal.  So I am making a matching card for each of them.
So for this one, I used the head feature.  Now this is supposed to be a monkey, it kind if looks like a bear cub, but oh well.  I am sure my 6 yr old grandson will love it!!  I welded to of the head shapes to make the base of the card. Then cut the layers.  All were cut at 5".  I hid the eyes so I could use my Peachy Keen "Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed" stamps.  I added some glossy accents to the eyes.  I used My Creative Time, new Teeny Tiny Tag Die to cut the tags and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper "Punnylicious" stamp set.

For my last project today, I used All Mixed Up and Kate's ABC's
The words were cut at 1.5" using All Mixed Up.  And the shoes were cut from Kate's ABC's at 3.5".
I distressed the edges of the pattern paper and inked them.  I added some Pink Bubblegum Crinkle Ribbon from My Craft Spot and some gem to the shoes.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Would You Ever Guess Wednesday - Martha Stewart

For my ***100 Follower Giveaway***, please click HERE

For today's project, I picked using a Martha Stewart cartridge.
My husband needed a wedding card for one of his friends at work.
Of course he asked at the last minute, so I had to make something quick and simple.

For this card, I used some Coordinations Glimmer cardstock , 2 differnt Cuttlebug folders, some lavender ribbon, some gems and the Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art Cricut Cartridge.  I also used the Martha Stewart Scoreboard. The only Cricut cuts are the sentiments on the outside and inside of the card.

Sweet and simple!!
