Christmas Countdown - 3D Object

Today is April 25th, and that means
Christmas Countdown

This month we were challenged
with making a 3D object.

I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 to
make 2 little treat boxes today.

Here is a sneak peek:

This first box was made with the
Cone Box on page 63.
This was cut at 9", I used the
scoring tool to score the lines
before cutting.
I used Coordinations Glittter cardstock.

This was a fairly easy project.
I think I got it done in about an hour.
I embossed the tree with the
Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder.
I added different colored
gems for the decorations
on my Christmas Tree.
I added a topper made with ribbon.
The tag and sentiment
are from My Creative Time
Teeny Tag Greetings.
This box has a little loop at the top
so it would be great to fill with candy
an hang on your own tree!!

Although I am not happy with the way this
project came out, I am still
going to show it to you!!

This box was cut at 5.5" from page 47.
The paper is DCWV.

The phrase was cut at 1"

I could not get the extra snowflake piece
to line up properly!!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by today.

Mother's Day Card - Card Creating Tuesday

Hello all my crafty friends!!
So glad you stopped by today to see
what I have made.  The theme this week for
Card Creating Tuesday is Mother's Day.
I have a few Mother's Day cards to
make so this is my first one.

I used the Ole cartirdge for my card today.
I love the beautiful latin inspired images
on this cartridge.
Here is a sneak peak.

This bird can be found on page 28 of the handbook.
I only cut the Shift layer at 1.5".
I hid some of the extra lines that
I did not want on my design.

Next I cut this flower image from
page 28 of the handbook.
I flipped it with my gypsy
and cut all the layers at 3".
I addd Liquid Pearls in Canteloupe
and Mint Green and some Copper Stickles.

This Phrase was cut from page 36 at 2".
I covered the top layer with Patina Stickles.
It means "Happy Mother's Day"!!

All the paper is from DCWV Mango Frost
cardstock stacks.  I added some
Stardust Stickles around the outside.
I used the Paisley Cuttlebug folder
and added some CTMH ribbon in Juniper.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, and please
visit My Cricut Craft Room to see the other wonderful
cards my design team sisters have made today!!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Tea Time Birthday Card

Hello all my crafty friends.  I got to spend some time in my craft room today, so I made a card for my
stepdaughter's birthday.  When I asked her what she wanted, one of the things was an Iced Tea Maker from Teavana.  I asked "what is Teavana?".  Well let me tell you, Teavana is this wonderful tea store.
They sell all types of loose leaf tea.  Now I like tea, but am not a crazy tea drinker, but after finding this
store, I may become one!!  The have they most aromatic, delicious teas!!

I not only bought her the Iced Tea Infuser and a gift set of teas, I bought the Iced Tea Infuser and some loose leaf teas for my husband and I too!!  This might become a new obsession!!

So, to go along with what I hope is a wonderful gift, I made Monique a tea themed birthday card!!

I used the Love You A Latte cartridge.

I cut the teapot at 3".

The teacup was cut at 1.5"
Both faces come from the new Peachy Keen
April Stamp of the month.

This little tag is from My Creative Time
Teeny Tag Greetings Die.
The sentiments are all from
the Peachy Keen April Stamp of the Month.

The teapot is mounted on an Action Wobble.

All the paper is from
DCWV Cafe Mediterranean
cardstock matstacks.
I added some My Craft Spot crinkle ribbon
in Light Denim and some trim
from Creative Iamginations
along with some twine and a few gems.

I really hope that Monique likes her gift
and her card!!

I will be entering this in the following challenges:

Card Creating Tuesday - Get Well Card

Today is Tuesday, and that can only mean one thing:

For this week the Theme was to create a
Get Well Card

I made my card using
Paper Doll Dress Up and
Life is a Beach.

My nephew is in the Navy and he
had to have surgery on his wrist
for bone spurs.  He is stationed
on a submarine in Hawaii!!
So this card was made for him!

The submarine was cut from Life is a Beach.
I used metallic cardstock.

The sailor was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up.
He is actually the Raggedy Andy cut!!
I used Peachy Keens Basic
Paper Dolls stamp set for the face.
I added some doodling with
a metallic gel pen.
I tore layers of paper for the water
and the sand, and inked the edges
I used glitter cardstock for the sand.
The sunset was added with chalk.
Sorry, but I do not recall which
cart the Get Well Soon is from!!

Here is a pic of my nephew.

Tyler, get well soon!!

Now, please be sure to check out
what the rest of the design team
made today over at My Cricut Craft Room

This month I made 4 different projects using 4 different cartridges.
So just a heads up, this is a long post with lots of pictures!!!

This first card was made with the Cotton Candy cut
from the County Fair cartridge.
This cartridge has some really fun
Fair related cuts on it!!
The cotton candy and all the layers were cut at 4".
It is mounted on an action wobble.
I used glitter paper for the top layer
of the cotton candy and then
embossed it using the Divine Swirls folder.
This cute sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's "Sweetest Cupcakes" stamp set.

This next card is from the adorable Ole' Cartridge.
Being hispanic, this was a must have
cartridge for me!!  I made
this adorable birthday
card for my mom.
Her birthday was this past week

She is mounted on an action wobble
so she can dance the night away!!
She was cut at 4.5".
The border frame
was cut at 5".
The lovely senorita has a mole on her
cheek just like my mom!!
I used Peachy Keens Laughy Taffy stamp set.
I used the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder on her hair.
For those of you that do not speak spanish
(ha, I don't either...LOL)
This says Feliz Cumpleanos, which
means Happy Birthday!!
This was cut at 2".

This next card was made using the
Nifty Fifties cartridge.
I just love this poodle cut!!
I think it is my favorite of all the poodle cuts.
My spoiled dog #2 Jasmine is
a minature poodle.
I used my gypsy to weld the
base image together to
make a shaped card.
the base was cut at 5.5"

The poodle was cut at 5.5".
I used the swiss dots Cuttlebug embossing folder
on the body and the divine swirls
on the fur.  I also added some Diamond
Stickles to the swirls.  I gave her
a diamond collar and toenails!!
The sentiment is from the K Andrews
"All About Animals" stamp set.
I am entering this card in the Simply Sunday
Challenge over at Getting Cricky and
Celebrate the Occasion

This last project is my overall favorite!!
I made this beautiful box from
Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2.
It is the Bride Box cut at fit to page,
which cut at 8.75".  I also used
the scoring blade to score the lines.
I added crystal accents to the bodice.
some black ribbon and a white paper rose
I had in my stash.  I inked the edges of
the rose with black ink and dipped it in glitter.
On the bottom of the dress I used a crystal border
and this beautiful flower ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by, I hoped you enjoyed my projects
as much as I enjoyed making them!!

WYEGW - Technique - 3D Basket

Welcome to

Today the technique we were challenged to use was
to create a 3-D Basket!!

Now I know there is a beautiful easter basket
on the new TBBM2 card, and another
great one on the new Spring Cottage.
But I wanted to challenge myself to create
a basket using some other cartridge.
So I was looking through my booklets
and I found the cute "Nut Cup" on TBBM.
I thought, I can make a basket with that!!

Here is a sneak peek!!

I will show you picutures of all 4 sides, and then
list the cartridges and sizes below.

Preserves Cricut Cartridge

As promised yesterday, today I am going to share
a picture of my two adorable grandsons!

These two little cuties are my little princes:

Aren't those little faces just precious!!
This picture was taken last year.
Tristan on the left is now 8
and Vincent on the right is 7.

Now, on to my project for today.

I have to admit, this project was a total scraplift!!
I lifted this idea straight from page 22 & 23
of the Cricut Quick and Easy Idea book!!
had the most adorable gift bag with overalls for a little girl.
When I saw the bag I knew I could make the perfect
pair of boy overalls to match the theme of this hop!!

I used a small kraft gift bag, it is only about 8.5" high.
I inked it up with some Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
I cut the overalls from the Country Life Cartridge.
using Coordinations cardstock,
I stretched them with my gypsy so that they
are 4.6" wide x 11" high.
I ran them through the cuttlebug using this cute
checkered folder.  Then I sanding them a bit.
The red plaid paper is from DCWV
Dots and Stripes paper pack.
I adde some brads for buttons.
The fish and fishing pole were cut
from Just Because Cards at 8.6" high.
The grass was cut from
Martha Stewart All Occasions Cake Art.
This is my favorite grass to use!!

The Gone Fishin sentiment is from Life is a Beach.
I cut it at 3.10" h.  I cut the fish off that was part of the cut.

I hope you enjoyed my projects!!
