And now for my projects....

I decided to make some back to school bookmarks for my 5 grandkids.
Today I am sharing the 2 bookmarks I made for my 2 grandsons.

For this first one I used All Star Sports.
In the past, a few of my teammates have creating
backgrounds using multiple stamps, so I though
I would give it a try.  The soccer ball is from Miss Kate's Cuttable's
Papers are from Doodlebug
For this last one, I used Gotta Wear Shades
I just love these adorable bears!!  I used
the free SVG files to cut out the bear
and the background for the sentiment.
I added some color to my bear using chalk
and even gave him a little bit of a sunburn!!
Papers used on this one are from Echo Park
I tried to make these all super simple and
not bulky.  It was really hard for me to resist
using foam dots to pop up the images!!

Next up on the Line Up is guest designer Ilda.
Winners will be picked from a different blog each day,
so the more you comment the more chances you have to win.

Festive Fridays - Gingerbread

Hello and welcome to
Festive Fridays with
Today we were asked to use
a Gingerbread!!
I wanted to do something a little
different so I made a tag using the
Gingerbread Snowflake from
When It's Cold Outside.
I really like the way it came out!!

The actual tag was cut using
My Creative Times Tag Die.
The papers are from
Echo Parks Vintage Christmas Pad.

I cut the snowflake at 3" from glitter paper.
The base is Coordinations Glimmer Cardsctock.
I added some xmas red and
cinnamon stickles.
I also added a some
pearl bling from Recollections.

The label that I stamped the sentiment
onto is the curly label die from
My Creative Time.
The Sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's
Christmas Wishes stamp set.
I added a little bit of
designer trim from Webster's Pages.
I also sprayed the entire
tag with Walnut Gold
Glimmer Mist.  I also inked
it up with Distress Ink.

I will be entering this project
in the following challenges:

I hope you enjoyed my project today,
please make sure you check out the
other Gingerbread project that
my DT sister Jaime made over

Letter of the Day - Letter P

Hello and Happy Monday!!!
it is Letter of the Day,
and this week it is the Letter P.
We can use a cartridge or an image
that begins with the Letter P.

I made a christmas card using
Pooh and Friends.
I have have this cart for along time
and this is the first time I have used it!!

I used the cute little Pooh Head from page 18 of the handbook
cut at 2.5".  The Santa Hat is from page 60 at 1.40".
All the paper I used is from Echo Park Very Merry Christmas
Paper Pack, which I purchased from
I cut the card base at 9" x 4 1/2",
so I ended up with a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"
square card.  The second brown layer
is a Spellbinders Label 18.
The green layer is Spellbinders
Lacey Circles.  Each layer is
popped up with foam squares,
Pooh is mounted on an Action Wobble.

I cover the white trim on the hat with
Ranger's Snowflake Embossing Tinsel
which I also got from Erica.

The sentiment stickers were from the same
Echo Park Paper Pack.
I added some crinkle ribbon from
My Craft Spot in Cranberry
and Vintage Pine.
I also inked all the layers
with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

Please be sure to visit
to see more great projects!!

Theme Day Thursday - ABC Carts

Hello and welcome to Theme Day Thursday with
Today we were asked to use one of the ABC carts.
Kate's ABC's, Nate's ABC's or Noah's ABC's.
I used Kate's ABC's and Animal Kingdom.
Here is a sneak peak:

The word Baby and the banner pieces
 were cut with Kate's ABC's.
I added some liquid pearls to the
word Baby and some Glossy Accents to the
letters in the banner. I kind of messed up because
I was in a hurry.  I tried using my heat gun to dry
the liquid pearls, and they exploded!!!
So do not try this at home...LOL

I made this card for one of the girl's at work.
We had her baby shower yesterday and the theme
in her babies room is monkey's!!
She loved the card!!
This cute monkey head is from Animal Kingdom.
She is mounted on an action wobble.
I stamped the eyes with Peachy Keen's
Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed stamp set.
The adorable crochet flower was from
She hand crochets these herself!!

I added a piece of lace and inked all the edges.
The adorable pattern paper was a gift from
our wonderful leader Erica!!
It is from Echo Park "Bundle of Joy".

Hope you liked my card as
much as the recipient did!!
Please stop by My Cricut Craft Room
to see what the rest of the design team created today!!
