Spring Card Set

WARNING!!!
This is going to be a very picture heavy post!!

First off, I want to thank everyone for
wishing my Sweet Pea a Happy Birthday!!
Here is a funny picture of her not
looking too happy to share her birthday
cake with her sister Jasmine!!
So, on to my cards.  I recently purchased a great
little card kit from Archiver's Annex.
It came with the Tim Holtz Easter Blueprint
stamps that I have seen elsewhere for $20.00
for the stamps alone.  The card kit was $20.00
and it included the stamps, some cardstock,
tags, a bottle of Stickles, a 6x6 MME paper
pack and a roll of Jute string!!
What a great deal!!  Here is the set of cards I made.
In all these pictures is is hard to see the card base,
but I cut them all at 4x4 from the brown cardstock
that was included in the kit.  The pattern papers
are from the paper pack included as well as
my scrap box.  I used a variety of products on
all the cards, I will list them at the bottom.
On this card I used Twine &
Turquoise and Lime Green Stickles

On this card I used the Jute String,
Want 2 Scrap Bling &
Magenta and Cherry Ice Stickles

For this card I used Glitter Tulle, Want 2 Scrap
Bling and Lagoon Stickles

These next two cards are the first ones I made
and they do not include and dry embossing.
I used Webster's Pages Trim, Recollections
Bling and Yellow Stickles on this one.
I loved the butterfly so much, I used it twice!!
This card has sheer ribbon, Recollentions Bling
and Lime Green Stickles

Materials:
Tim Holtz Easter Blueprint Stamps
Various Spellbinders Dies
Various colors of
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Various Sizzix and
Cuttlebug Embossing Folders

All cards but one, have a tag cut with My Craft Spot's
Tiny Tag Dies and are stamped with sentiments
from the Tiny Tags 2 stamp set.
The tags were embossed with Zing
clear embossing powder.

Does anyone have any fun plans
for the weekend?? This weekend is my
Spoiled Dog #1's birthday!!  She was actaully
a rescue so we celebrate the day we adopted
her as her birthday!!  I cannot believe that she has
been part of our lives for 6 years!!
She is the sweetest  girl and totally a mama's girl!!

Here is she is watching me as I type this post!
Sweet Pea
Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!

Ok, on to my project for today :)
I made two cards for the
and

I made identical baby boy and baby girl cards.

I started with a sheet of kraft cardstock that I cut
in half to make my 2 A2 sized cards.
The pattern paper is from a 6x6
My Mind's Eye paper pack called
Sweetest Thing.
The next layer is a Spellbinders Label 11.
I've embossed it using a Sizzix
folder called Phrase, Baby.
My sweet babies are a combination.
The bodies are cut at 3" from Baby Steps.
The head and faces are from
Peachy Keen's March SOTM.
I have inked everthing up with
Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen,
Broken China and Worn Lipstick.

I added a little chalk and freckles to their cheeks.
I have also added just a bit of Stickles
around the edge of  their bonnets in
Cotton Candy and Baby Blue.
I used my 3 Girl Jam Bow maker to tie
some double bows using My Craft Spot
crinkle ribbon in Petal Pink and Sky Blue.
The tags are from the Tiny Tags Stamps and Dies
from My Craft Spot.

I now have 2 cards ready for the next baby shower!!
Everyone have a great weekend!!
