and Die-namics, the Happy Birthday Die-namics

and the Stitched Traditional Tag Die-Namics.

Jaded Blossom May Release Blog Hop

Hey Everyone! 

Welcome to Jaded Blossom's May 2016 Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Michelle you're in the right place, if you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom. Here is what I made:

I used this month's freebie to create a fun treat

I used the new Envelope Dies and Treat Tag Die to create a 

Gift Card Holder.  I stamped the sentiment from Birthday in Style

onto a mat cut from the Card Mat dies.  

Here is a tip when cutting the large envelope.

I only have a Cuttlebug and I was having great difficulty cutting 

the largest envelope with my Cuttlebug since the die is the length of 

the whole cutting pad. Candace gave me a great tip that worked like a 

charm.  I taped the die to the paper with some washi tape being sure 

to remove most  of the sticky.  I ran half the die through, then turned it 

around and ran the other half through and it worked like a charm!!

I filled one of the Candy Tubes with some Skittles

and then created a tag using the Scallop Circle Die

and the Stitched Circle Die.  I stamped both sentiments

using the Birthday In Style stamp with Versamark and 

then heat embossed using Zing Embossing Powder.

Jaded Blossom May Release Sneak Peek Day 3

Hello and welcome back for Day 3 of the

May Release for Jaded Blossom!!

Today we are sharing projects made

with Puppy Dress Up and Dog-gone Awesome

I have made a fun treat for my 3 Spoiled Girls

using the adorable puppy from Puppy Dress Up

and the sentiment is from Dog-Gone Awesome.

I used the Treat Topper Die and stamped the 

sentiment onto a tag made from the Card Mat Dies

I have colored my puppy using my Spectrum Noir markers

and embossed the sentiment using Zing Embossing Powder.

Jaded Blossom May Release Sneak Peek Day 1

I am beyond excited to share with you the May Release

for Jaded Blossom!!  Today is Sneak Peek Day 1.

Today we are revealing the new Envelope Dies
and Mermaid Kisses Stamp Set.
 I am sharing a project with Mermaid Kisses

I made a sweet treat filled with Swedish Fish that

I think any Mermaid would enjoy snacking on!!

I used the Mermaids file from SVG Cutting Files

and stamped her face with Fashionista Faces

from Peachy Keen.  The treat box is from Jaded Blossom 

I embossed her hair and tail with my Cuttlebug

The sentiment is from the new Mermaid Kisses.

I have stamped it with Versamark ink and then Heat Embossed

with Zing Embossing Powder.  The tag was made

using the Scalloped Stitched Circle and Stitched Circle Dies

Today I have a birthday card to share with you

that I made for my boss and friend :)

I used lots of  My Favorite Things items.

I used the Stiched Cover Up Companion die

to make the front panel of my shaker card.

Paper is from Doodlebug 

I colored up this cutie from the Sweet Birthday Wishes

stamps and dies using my Spectrum Noir markers.

The sentiment is from LJD Birthday Greetings.

I embossed it using Zing Embossing powder.

And now for my project:
I have one very special graduation coming up for
my oldest Granddaughter's High School Graduation.
We will be taking a trip out to Phoenix at the beginning
of June to attend her graduation.  I am making some decorations
for her party which I will share at a later date.  I also made
the invitations for her party.  For today, I am sharing a
Graduation card I made for her.

I started with a 5x5 square card, which I embossed with stars.

the design elements are from the My Scrap Chick Card Essentials

This file makes it very easy to but a card together.

The pattern papers and Stars are from

Here's what I've created for you today...

I have created a pretty simple card, but I just love the

way it turned out!!  I used the Just Bugcause Stamps and Dies.

Most of the ladies on the team used the cute little buggies

from this set, so I decided to do something a little different.

I stamped a bunch of the leaves onto the corner of this card

and then colored them all in using my Spectrum Noir Markers.

And then just to had a little more interest and dimension,

I used the leaf die to cut some leaves out of different

Doodlebug Pattern Papers,  I pop dotted them randomly

over some of the colored leaves.

I embossed my sentiment using Zing Embossing Powder, but

I am a sloppy embosser...lol  I always seem to get

specks of the powder  where I don't want them even when

 using an embossing buddy!!  I added a few Doodlebug Sprinkles

and a little bit green twine.  I also used my Prima Distressing Tool

to rough up the edges of the white paper.

I have 3 projects to share with you today!

For my first project I used Bitty Blessing

I tried a few different techniques with this release.

For this card, I first embossed the sentiment

and starburst pattern from Bitty Blessing

with Zing Clear Embossing Powder

and then I inked the background with

Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Pickled Raspberry to

reveal the stamping!!  I finished but adding

the cute little baby and ducky.

They were colored with my Spectrum Noir Markers

and I used a Peachy Keen stamp for her face.

 

For my next card, I used Sew Raggedy

Papers are from Doodlebug and I colored with

my Spectrum Noir markers.  It is faint, but

can  you see the stiching??  I was able to

manipulate the stamp on my block into

a curved line :)

 

For my last card, I really stepped out of the box

using Tissue Time!!

Tissue Time has those cute little mice, but

I decided to make a clean and simple card

to highlight the sentiment.  I also tried

watercoloring with my distress inks.

Once again I started my stamped and embossing

my sentiment with clear embossing powder using watercolor paper.

Next I "painted" on color using distress ink and water.

Next, I dripped water onto my paper.

I finished off by adding some sequins and some twine.
