Curly Tree - Thinking of You

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

Today I have a pretty little Thinking of You card.  I used the curly tree from Wall Decor and More.  I just love this little tree.  The pretty paper is an old paper pack I have from Close to My Heart.  Don't you just love the pretty fall colors!!  The sentiment stamp is CTMH as well.  The ribbon is from my stash and I hand cut the tag.  I added just a touch of glitter gel pen.  I embossed the frame the tree is on with the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug folder.  I am entering this card in Bitten By the Bug2 - Curly Tree Challenge.  The challenge was to use the tree from Heritage, but since I don't have this cart, I used this one from Wall Decor and More, I think it fits the challenge, what do you think ?

Baby Animals

Here is the second card I made today.  I am not sure that I am totally happy with the way this one came out.  Something I can't put my finger on, maybe the colors??  Anyway, my friend needs a baby shower card, so this is what I came up with.  All cuts are from New Arrival.  The giraffe on the cartridge did not have any spots, so I added some with a shape from George and Basic Shapes.  The printed background paper is from Imaginisce "Baby Powder" collection.  I think that next to DCWV, Imaginisce is my favorite printed paper!!
I added a strip of paper ribbon, a few buttons and a little bling.  I also used PK New Arrival stamps for the faces.  I also added a little doodling.  I used the spots and dots Cuttlebug folder for the background.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Love to Crop - It's a Jungle Out There
Cricut Cardz Challenge - #89 It's a Jungle Out There
Peachy Keen-Stamps-Sketch-Challenge-59
My Craft Spot - Sew Much Fun

Circle Anniversary Card

Hello all my crafty friends.  I have 2 post today as I got to spend a few hours in my craft room.
the first on is an anniversary card I made for my cousin who is celebrating her 30th wedding anniversary!
Since the challenge at Celebrate the Occasion is to make a circle card, that is what I decided to make!!

The card base and top layer are from Art Philosophy, as is the frame on the inside of the card.  Don't you just love this shape!!  The numbers for the 30 were also cut from Art Philosophy.  The sweet birdie couple and the sentiment on the inside is from Sweethearts.  I used the swiss dots & distressed stripes Cuttlebug folders. The background paper is from the DCWV Lemon Frost Stack.  I added some ribbon and some bling.  Here is the inside.

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:

Pink Roses

So for my second post today, I made a card for my mother-in-laws upcoming 80th birthday.  The challenge this week at Birthday Sundaes was a color challenge, to make a birthday card using pink, green and white.  Well my scrap room is these 3 colors!!  Since I just got my Art Philosophy cartridge this week, I decided to try making some 3D flowers.   Here is a close up of the flowers.

I have had such fun playing!!  The vase is a cut from Celebrate with Flourish, I just cut off some pieces!!  If you missed it the birthday wording is in the lower left corner, the stamo is from Papertry Ink "Mega Mixed Messages".  I added a little bling, some stickles and glimmer misted the flowers.  Oh Yeah, the pink flower in the middle was cut from white paper.  I inked the edges with SU Pretty in Pink and the applied glimmer mist.  The pink, green and white background paper is from Making Memories.   I also used a little bit of twine from My Craft Spot!!   I am also entering this in FCCB Challenge #74 – Birthday Bash

Relax

The challenge this week over at Cricut 360 is "RELAX".  I made this card for a friend that retired who loves to read.  The books are from Everyday Paper Dolls, all other cuts are from Life is a Beach.  The background paper is from Close to My Heart, and the cardstock is Coordinations.  I used some stickles and glitter gel pen and the Relax is an epoxy sticker from my stash.

Thanks for Looking :)

Halloween Pillow Box

I finally got my Art Philosophy cartridge and could not wait to create something with it.  Here is what I came up with, a pretty simple project, but I am really happy with the way it came out.

Isn't this witch stamp just fabulous!!  It is from the Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month "Wicked".  I got it for $5.00, since I ordered the Art Philosophy Collection.  Here is a close up:

I stamped her in black ink and then heat embossed with black.  It is a little sloppy as I have not heat embossed in a long time, but I like the way it came out!!

Here is a close-up of the little tag:

Don't you just love this little sentiment!!  It is from BugBites first ever stamp set called "All Year Round"
I happened to win the set as a blog hop giveaway!!

Here is a list of the supplies I used:

CTMH Art Philosophy - Pillow Box, cut at fit to page 9 3/4", Tag cut at 2"
Cricut Happy Hauntings - Frame cut at 5.75" (I think)
Close to My Heart - Witch from "Wicked" stamp set
BugBites - Sentiment from "All Year Round" stamp set
Imaginise - background paper from "Hallowhimsey"
My Craft Spot - Crinkle Ribbon and Twine
Black Ink and embossing powder

Dude! - Woody

I made this card today to enter into the Birthday Sundaes Challenge-21 - Anything Goes.  I rarely make masculine cards, so since it was anything goes, what better time!!  I used the woody from the Lite cartridge Dude! to make this cool Southern California beach scene!!

Coordinations Couture Cardstock for the sand
Papertrey Ink Mega Mixed Messages - sentiment
the water is cardstock from my stash, and a card base.

I used a little bit of glitter gel pens too!!  I also used some pop dots for
the sun, trees and the woody,

Ok, this is the last one for today, and this one is my favorite.  I got the inspiration for this card from the background paper!!  It is from Imanginsce Berrylicious Collection.  Love this collection!!  The glass of lemonade is from Just Because Cards, the cherry is from Paisley, and the font for the sentiment is from Cindy Lou.  I just love the way this card came out.  I am entering in in the Cricut 360 Challenge #6 - Refreshing I think it fits perfectly!!  I am also going to enter this card in the My Craft Spot Challenge #20-It's Hot Out There

Here is another card I made for my granddaughter's birthday party this weekend.  My son bought her a princess video game, so I made this card for him to give her.  I used Once Upon a Princess, she is cut
at  5.75".  I used all scraps for this card and some magenta, agua and silver stickles and some liquid pearls.  Her face is from Peachy Keen's Princess Face Assortment.

Here is a side view to show that it is a shape card not just a die cut.  I am entering this card in Peachy Keens - Let's Face it Friday - Shaped Cards

You Are Berry Special

Minnie's Birthday Car

One of my granddaughter's birthday party is this weekend and I planned on making her a Minnie Mouse card, since Minnie is her favorite.  Since the theme at Cricut 360 this week is Transportation, I decided to put Minnie behind the wheel of her own little car.  I found this cute little car on Paper Doll Dress Up.  Since it had no layers, I cut two.  One in white and one in the pink glitter paper.  I colored the white layer with some markers and then just layered the main part of the car over my colored white car!!  The road and mountain were cut from Everyday Paper Dolls and the sun is from CAC.  Of course, Minnie is from Disney & Friends.  The ballons and present are stickers.  Minnie and the car with ballons and present are all on an action wobble!!  I am hoping the I make the deadline for Cricut 360 Challenge #5, it is midnight today, but is that Pacific Time???  Darn it, I just tried to link my project at Cricut 360, and it is closed.  Pooh!!  I guess next time I will know the deadline must be midnight Eastern Time!!
I am also going to enter this card in the Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #24, Kid's Birthday.  TFL!!
