Monster Card

Ok, so this last card is another card I made in less than an hour.  I just love my newly acquired Mini Monsters.  It is so quick and easy to make these shaped cards.  The hardest part is picking which one you want to make!!  All paper is cardstock from my stash and scraps.  I used Spots and Dots and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folders, a little inking and some glossy accents.  The eyes are from PK Monster Mash set and the cute sentiment is from Crafty Sprouts brand new "Totally Witchin" set.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Scrappy Moms - Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Mini Monsters

New Baby

This next card I made for a good friends new granddaughter.  The baby is already a couple of weeks old, so I am really late with this card.  They live in San Antonio, so I need to get this package in the mail.  I used Baby Steps for the baby cuts and Elegant Edges for the scalloped frames.  The background paper is from Imanginise.  I added ribbon in Pink Bubblegum from My Craft Spot, and some blingy little dots.  I used the Spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder and inked a little with a pink stamp pad.  The face is from PK Wide Eyed Kids stamp set, and added glossy accents to the eyes.

I also made a matching gift card holder using my brand new Gift Card Holder Die from My Creative Time and also used her Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.  Love this die, I will be using it over and over!!

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

My Craft Spot -  Monday Challenge #26 - Ribbon
Celebrate the Occassion - Challenge #32!!  "Any Occasion (must use ribbon)"!!!!

Give Thanks

I have been a busy little crafter today.  I am on vacation this week so I got to spend a few hours in my craft room while my hubby worked on some electrical stuff around the house.  So, I have 3 cards to post tonight.

This first card is a Thanksgiving card, I made to enter in this weeks challenge over at Cricut 360.  The theme this week for Challenge # 12 is Native American Inspiration.  I found this great cut of feathers on the Thanksgiving Seasonal cartridge.  The card base and frame are from the Art Philosopy cartridge.  All the paper is from the DCWV Harvest Stack.  I used the branches cuttelbug folder on the leaves.  I hand cut the tag and the sentiment is from BugBytes "All Year Round " set.  I used some Wild Honey Distress ink and glimmer mist on the tag.  I used two different crinkle ribbon, the orange one is Marmalade from My Craft Spot and the turquosie one is from Praire Bird Boutique.

All cuts are from Martha Stewart's All Occassions Cake Art Cartridge.  All the paper was from my scraps and I used a little bling and a little crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot.  The present in the corner was added to hide a mistake!!

Wedding Card

This last card I made for a friend that was going to a wedding.  The wedding colors were Brown and Orange.  The paper I used was very glittery, and as you all know it does not photograph well.  As you can see this card has alot of bling!!

The heart is from the Wedding cartridge.  I think the rings are from Sweethearts and the sentiment is from one of the Martha Stewart carts.  I used some crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot, and a cuttlebug folder.

Happy Crafting,
Kathy

With Sympathy

This next card is a card I don't like having to make, but we all have to at some point.  It was made for a friend at work that tragically lost her husband last week.  The frame with the flowers is from Cindy Loo.  The sentiment if from Wild Card and the butterflys are a Martha Stewart punch.  I used the Paisley Cuttlebug folder and some crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot.  The printed paper is from K & Comapny.

You are my Sunshine

This next card I am entering into the 2 Peachy Keen Challenges for this week.  The Theme for Let's Face It Friday is Sunshine.  And here is the sketch for Sketch Challenge 61, you also had to use twine.

I decided to make one card for both challenges.  For this card, the cuts are from Just Because Cards.  The checked and polka dot paper are from Creative Imaginations.  The glitter cardstock used on the sun is Coordinations Couture.  The printed cardstock is DCWV Nana's Kitchen Stack.  The sun is on an action wobble and I used from bakers twine from My Craft Spot.  The face on the sun is from PK Princess Face Assortment.

Something seems to be missing on the left side, I guess maybe I should have made the printed piece of cardstock a little longer.  Oh Well !!

Happy Crafting,

Kathy

Happy Birthday/Guitar

Here is a birthday card I made for my grandaughter.  She loves to sing and play her little purple Hannah Montana guitar!!  This little paper doll looks just like her too...LOL.

The paperdoll was cut from Everyday Paperdolls and the sentiment is from Celebrate with Flourish.  The pattern cardstock is DCWV.  The rest is various scraps.  I used a little bit of embroidery floss for the guitar strap.  I used PK Basic Paper Dolls for her face and did a little bit of pen work.  I also used a Martha Stewart border punch.  I am entering this in the FCCB - #77 – Make Some Music

Vampire Shape Card

I made this card in less than an hour.  It was super easy, but I love the way it came out.  Isn't he too cute??

Sorry,  the pictures did not come out great.  I used the card feature on Mini Monsters for this card.  I cut all the layers at 5.6".  I added a cute little face from Peachy Keens Monster Mash Assortment.

I also felt it needed a sentiment, so I cut the sign post from Walk in My Garden and used a stamp from Pink By Design's A Haunting We Will Go.  I used a little bit of Dried Burlap Distress Ink on the sign and the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug Folder.  A embossed his vest and his hair to add a little dimension, and I added a little bling and glossy accents.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Crafty Sprouts - Get in Shape Challenge
Getting Cricky - Simply Sunday Challenge - Halloween
Cricut Cardz Challenge 91 - "Things That Go Bump in the Night!"

Fall Colors - Thinking of You

I made a couple of really quick card tonight for a few challenges.  I was surprised I got both of them done in about two hours.  Here is the first one.  I aploigize for the poor photos.  You all know how hard it is to photograph sparlkey or glittery paper!!

I used the new DCWV Harvest Gathering Stack for everything but the card base.  The card base is made with paper from Coordinations Chocolate Box Collection.  I embossed with a leaf folder, not sure of the manufacturer.  I sanded the paper so that the color would show through a little bit.  The base was cut from Art Philosophy.  All other cuts are from Gypsy Wanderings.  I added a little bling and some hand dyed crinkle ribbon in Maple Leaf from My Craft Spot.  I am entering this card in the following challenges:

My Craft Spot - Challenge #24 - Friends are the best!
Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge  -  #30 Gypsy Wanderings
Love to Crop - FALL COLORS

Back to School Apple

I made this card today for a couple of challenges.  This cute little apple is from Doodlecharms and so is the apple border.  I welded a few of the border together with my gypsy to get it to go across the page.  I cut the top layer twice, once green and again in red.  Then I alternated the colors.  I cut the bottom layer in white and colored the leaf and stem with markers.  I used Peachy Keens Wide Eyed Kids face stamp for the big apple.  I live this set!!  I added some glossy accents to the eyes and mouth.  The big apple is on an Action Wobble.

The scalloped oval is from CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge and the stamp is one of the additional coordinating stamp sets that you an purchase called Harvest Happiness.   I covered it with glossy accents, added some foam tape and twine from My Craft Spot.  I think I attached it too soon and it cracked a little :(

For the base of the card I used Kraft cardstock and embossed with with the Cuttlebug Numbers folder, and inked it with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

FCCB - #76 – Back to School
Peachy Keen - Let's Face it Friday - Back to School

Peanut Birthday Card

I made some extra Peanuts and made this card to enter in the Birthday Sundaes - Challenge 25.  Once again the Peanut is from Create a Critter.  I used Peachy Keens Wide Eyed Kids face stamp, and a Sizzix embossing folder.  The patterned paper is from Imaginisce Animal Crackers line.  The little tag and Happy Birthday tag stamp is from Stampin Up.  The Sentiment is from Pink By Design "Be Mine" set.  I used twine from My Craft Spot to tie the tag to a piece of ribbon from my stash.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kathy

Peanut Thank You Cards

Happy Friday all you crafty friends.  I have a few cards to post tonight.  The first 2 I made last weekend, but just didn't post them.  I made these Thank You cards for the same friend that I made the Kitty Thank You cards for.  She loved the Kittys but I found out she was sending some clients some cute goody bags with Paydays and various nuts.  She was going to write on the inside "I know Payroll can be Nuts", I told her I can make you cards with Peanuts.  So she paid me more money to make her 6 Peanut Thank You cards.
I also added some Twine from My Craft Spot.

I really love the way these turned out.  That peanut is so darn cute.  The Peanut is from Create a Critter, I used the debossed side of a Sizzix embossing folder.  I hid the face layer and used my Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids stamp and I added some glossy accents to the eyes and mouth.  The Thanks is from Don Juan.  The patterned paper is Imaginisce Animal Crackers line.  Here is the inside:

Once again the patterned paper is Imaginisce Animal Crackers and the You Rock is from Wrap it Up.
Here is a picture of all six cards.

Green with Envy

Here is a simple little card I made for a few challenges.  The Throwback Thursday Challenge this week at My Creative Time was to make a project without using your Cricut!!  You were also to use the colors black, green, orange and purple.  Halloween colors, right!  So I decided to use the sketch cahllenge over at CTO this week and make this card for 3 challenges!!
Celebrate the Occassion - Sketch Challenge
My Creative Time Throwback Thursday - "Cricutless" Challenge, use black, green, orange and purple
More Than Favors - Wacky Wednesday #49 Halloween!

The patterned paper is Imaginisce Hallowhimsy line, the purple is Corrdinations, which I used a Cuttlebug foleder to emboss.  I used some crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot.  The flourish in the corner is from Recollections and the witch is a leftover sticker from my Halloween project from last year.  The sentiment is from the "All Year Round" stamp set from BugBites.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kathy

Kitty Thank You Card

A friend at work needed some thank you cards, since I had none in my stash, I told her I could make some.  She is a kitty lover, so I decided to use this cute little kitty from Cindy Loo.  All cuts are from Cindy Loo.  Don't you just love this frame with the swirly flourish on it!  The pale pink cardstock is from my stash and embossed with the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder.    I also used this folder on the kitty's tail as well as the Swiss Dots folder on the top layer of the kitty.  All the rest of the paper I used is from DCWV 'Street Lace" collection.  Since the challenge this week for Peachy Keen's Let's Face it Friday is Our Furry Friends, I decided to use a stamp for the kitty's face instead of the layer with the face features.  Now I had a hard time finding a face small enough to fit this kitty that was cut at 2.75", but I found one on PK-480 Christmas Character Face Assortment.  Who woulda thunk to use a Santa face on a kitty!!!  Only a crafter...LOL.  I also added a little chalk on the kitty's tail, legs and cheeks.  And of course, had to add some bling!!   Anyway, my friend loved the cards, she even paid me for them!  I made 4 total.  Shoulda made some extras for my stash!!

Hugs and Kisses,
Kathy
