Black and White

Hello and Happy Wednesday!!
I have a quick post for you today.
I made the following card for the
The challenge was to use Black and White only!!
I used one of the Daily Freebie files from
Miss Kate's Cuttables.
It is called Layered Overlays 2
It is no longer free, but you can get
it for only $0.50, and it comes
with 4 different designs.
I cut mine out at 5" with my
Cameo.  I welded two of the base
pieces to create the base of my card.
Since this overlay was so
detailed, I did not add too much to the
card. Only some white glitter tulle
and a little black ribbon.  I also
added White Liquid Pearls to
the centers of the flowers and
then covered them with white glitter!!
The card is very sparkly, but
it is hard to see in the photo.

I will also be entering this card into
the following challenges:

Everyday is an Occassion - Sunday Funday

Water You Up To

Hello and Happy Friday!!
I am back with my entry
for this weeks Peachy Keen
here is a peek at the sketch

And here is my take on the sketch!
I have to apologize for the crummy pictures,
it was dusk and not so much natural light outside!!
For my waves, I used the
new Friday Freebie File Borders -5
from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.
I embossed the waves using the
Cuttlebug Divine Swirls folder
and added some Stardust Stickles
I used Distress Ink in Mustard Seed,
Wild Honey and Dried Marigold
to create my sunset background.

The little Turtle and the Starfish and seaweed
are all from PPPR Sea Life Cutting Files.
For the Turtle's Eye, I used the
Peachy Keen Baby Animals Stamp Set

The eyes on my starfish are from
the Peachy Keen June SOTM.
The sentiment I used is from
K Andrews Splashtastic Summer
Stamp Set.  I finished my
card off by adding some twine.
I will be entering this card
in the following Challenges:

Little Red Riding Hood

Hello My Crafty Friends,
I am back with my project for this week's

By the way, it really pays off to
join the Peachy Keen Challenge each week.
I just won my 2nd $30.00 gift certificate.
They have a drawing every month
for all the people that participated
in all the challenges that month.

For this challenge I decided
to use one of the daily freebies
from Miss Kate's Cuttables

Here is my cute Little Red Riding Hood!!
I think she just came out adorable.
Her face is from the Peachy Keen
Sweet and Innocent Stamp Set.
All the paper I used to cut
her out was from my scrap pile.
The background papers are
from Cosmo Criket Baby Jane
6X6 Paper Pad.
The yellow piece was cut from
Spellbinder Label 18.

I found the perfect sentiment for my card.
from the K Andews Fashionista Stamp Set
I add some Recollections bling, and
My Craft Spot Ribbon and a little
Tim Holtz Distress Ink to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by!!
