Happy Birthday

Hello and Happy Tuesday!
Today is my day to post over at
Craftin Desert Divas.
I am sharing a another card I made using one of my favorite
stamp sets from the May Release.  I used "Happy Celebrations"
I love all the different sentiments on this set.
Here is my project:
My son asked me for a quick birthday card
at the last minute and this is what I came up with!
The cut is from the Silhouette Store Design ID #51731,
I thought it would be perfect wiht the quote.
His friend is an Oscar Wilde fan and he wanted me to incorporate
this quote.  I used my Silhouette Sketch Pens to write it out.

Of course I knew "Happy Celebrations"  would have
the perfect sentiment!!
The paper is from Doodlebug
and I also used a Spellbinders Curved Rectangles Die.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Father's Day Frame

Hello and Happy Saturday!
I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of
their weekend.  I have a fun project to share with you today.
A friend at worked asked if I could make her a frame
for her boys to give their father for Father's Day.
He is a police officer and this is what I came up with.
I have to apoligize for the photo quality.
I finished this late at night and had to take
these pictures at my desk at work!!
Warning, this is picutre heavy!!
I started with a plain 8x10 frame I bought at Michael's.
I painted it with some white arcylic paint.
Next I covered with with some great police themed
paper that I found at Scrapbook.com.
I Mod Podged the paper onto the frame.

I added this adorable little policeman from the
Police Kids file from Too Cute By Jessica

I tried my best to replicate his badge.
from the Silhouette Store to create the badge.
I used my Silhouette Pens to add the writing.
I used the Pens again to write out these banners.

I used the Cooper Block Font for my title.
I put a final coat of Mod Podge to finish my frame.

My friend loved it and I hope her hubby does as well!!

We would like to see your projects using
one, two or all three of these colors!!
The awesome sponsers
this week are
 KBD $15
Cardz TV - Stamp set

For my project I used Red, White and a tiny pit of Pink.
I made an anniversary card for my husband.  Next week
we will be celebrating our 15th  anniversary, and guess
what I got for my anniversary gift?  A new car!!
This past week my husband bought me a beautiful
2014 Hyuandai Santa Fe with all the bells and whistles :)
Here is a pic of my new car.
Ain't she pretty??

Ok, enough about my new car, here is my project
for today's challenge:
My card base is SVG Cutting Files
The kissing couple is the
Kiss Silhouette from the Silhouette Store
I added some ribbon from Michael's and the sentiment
is from Jaded Blossom's Valentine Candies stamp set
stamped onto a Mini Tag Die.
I added a few little heart gems in the corner.
I just love the way the inside came out.
I used my Silhouette Sketch Pens to draw
my sentiment, which is the Love You Still
file from the Silhouette Store.
After drawing the sentiment, I colored
in the works with a glitter gell pen
so it is very sparkly.

My husband is taking me to San Diego
for our anniversary and am really looking forward
to the drive in my new car!!

I hope you will join our LINKY PARTY!!

Happy Retirement

Hello!
I am super excited to have been chosen as a Guest Designer for
for the month of January for SVG Cutting Files. It is truely an honor and a privilege to
have been asked to be a part of this wonderful site.
SVG Cutting Files are truely my favorite site for cutting files.
They have the most adorable images, and if you
are reading this post then you already know that :)
For my first post, I made a few projects for an upcoming
Retirement Party for one of my Coworkers.
For my first project I made a card.
Since we wanted everyone in the office to
sign the card, I made a large card.
I folded a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock
to create my card base.
I used the Rocking Grandpa file.
 My Banner is from the
Silhouette Store, and I used my
Silhouette Pens to write the senitment
on the front and the inside

Next I made a Farewell Banner
that we will hang in the Conference Room.

Here is a close up of one of the letters.
As you can see I embossed with my Cuttlebug.

I used the Rocking Grandpa on all my projects.

Lastly I made a Treat Bag using the

I used Jaded Blossom "Another Year Older"
stamps around the orange piece of cardstock.

I filled my treat box with rolos and kisses
decorated with the "Over the Hill" candy stamps

Thanks for visiting :)

I will be entering these projects in the following challenges:
