Of course I knew "Happy Celebrations"  would have
the perfect sentiment!!
The paper is from Doodlebug

I chose to use the Ghost of
Christmas Past from page 41.
She is cut at 4".  Isn't she pretty!!

Theme Day Thursday - Shoes

Happy Thursday to all my Craft Friends!!
For the next month here are My Cricut Craft Room
we are turning PINK to show our support for
Breast Cancer.  To honor those who are currently
fighting the disease, survivors and to remember
those who have lost the battle.  From now until
October 15th, Erica has asked us to use
PINK on every project!!  She said that we could
hide it on the back or cover it up, but I am going to
display it proudly, since my mom is a breast
cancer survivor.  She is one of the lucky ones, she
has been cancer free  for more than 7 years.
Early detection is the key, so please make sure you
get your yearly mammograms!!

So the theme for today was one
of my favorite things
SHOES!!!

I decided to use the oh so cute witches
shoe from Happy Hauntings cut at 3.5".
I started with a black card base.
The pattern papers is from DCWV all cardstock is
Coordinatons.  I used 2 different Cuttlebug
embossing folders. Sorry but, the one on the 2nd
dark purple layer, I do not know the name of,
but the one on the top light lavendar layer is
Divine Swirls.  I sanded the dark purple layer and
rough up the edges with an edge distresser,  I also
inked both layers lightly with Tim Holtz Distress Ink
in Black Soot.  I added some rhinestone swirls
from Recollections.  I also added some black pearls
from the dollar bin at Joann's as the buttons on the
shoe.  I finished it off with some black and white
twine and some pink glitter tulle.
The tag and sentiment are from
My Creative Time.

Please go check out the rest of the ladies

This month I picked the following cartridges:
Wild Card 2
Sesame Street Seasons
Paper Dolls Teen Scene
The first project I am going to share with you
is the cute Owl card from page 45
of the new Wild Card 2 Cartridge.
I cut this at 5"
The paper is from DCWV Green Tea Stack

This was my husband's birthday card.
He loves owls!
The sentiment was pieced together
from K Andrew's Owly Hoo Sentiments.
My next card was made from
Sesame Street Seasons.
This is the first time I have used this cartridge
and I just love the way this little
Abby Kadabby came out!!

She is cut out from page 43 at 4".
I was a little scared when I saw all
the little pieces, but she was worth it!!
Don't you agree??

I mounted her onto a card made with
Spellbinders Curved Rectangles Die
and Label 18 die.  I inked around the edges
and add some glitter tulle at the top.
My final project was made with
Paper Doll Teen Scene.

Doesn't this make you want to go to the beach!!
I started by inking my card base with the following
colors of Tim Holtz Distress Ink:
Wild Honey
Dried Marigold
Peacock Feathers
Broken China
I added some Waterfall and Crystal Stickles
to the waves.
The sand is a piece of Coornidations
Glitter Cardstock, inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
The dolls were both cut at 5"
I added some Glossy Accents to the
lenses of their sunglasses!!
I used a Spellbinders Classic Circle die for the sun.
The sentiment is from K Andrews Splashtastic Summer set.
I added some Orange Peel Stickes for the rays of the sun.

Would You Ever Guess Wednesday - Sew Stamper

First of all I want to wish everyone a
very safe and happy 4th of July!!

So for today's project at My Cricut Craft Room
I chose to use the technique, and this weeks
technique was to use the Sew Easy, Sew Stamper
or Sew Ribbon.  I chose the Sew Stamper.
I bought my Sew Stamper a few months ago and have never
used it, so I thought this was my opportunity!!
Here is a sneak peak

We went to a retirement party over the weekend,
for one of the guys at my husband's work.
It was a western themed, party, so my hubby asked me to make a
western card. I chose this adorable cowboy from
3 Birds on Parade, cut at 4".

The Sew Stamper only comes with black ink.
Erica, taught us a great technique.
Once you stamp your project, pour
embossing powder over your stiches
and then heat set with a heat gun,
and voila, you have your stiches in any
color you want!

I used a really cool embossing enamel that I got
in a recent order from Erica's Craft Room Store.
It is copper embossing enamel from
Stampendous.  It has different colors in it.
Very cool!!

The "Wanted" paper is from the
Cowboy Up paper stack from Best Creations.
I thought it was perfect!!
I cut it down to fit the card, and inked
the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
I added some eyelets in the corners and some twine.
Anyway, as you can see, I used
the Sew Stamper to stamp the stiches
around the base of the card.
My lines are a little crooked, but
I will practice using my Sew Stamper
because I really like the way it came out.

Thanks for stopping by today,
and please check out My Cricut Craft Room
to see what the rest of the design team made today.

Card Creating Tuesday - Sketch

Hello, my crafty friends!!
This month I decided to challenge myself!!
I get in a rut and seem to use the same
design for my cards.  So this month
I decided to sign up for the
sketch challenge each week!!

This first sketch was really a challenge!!

After seeing this sketch, the first thing I thought of was
bubbles.  But then, I was looking through the stuff I
recently got from out wonderful leader Erica,
and I came across these stickers, there are only a few left!!:

Once I saw these stickers,
I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Here is a sneak peak:

For today's card, I used the following cartridges:
Card Base - Elegant Edges
Banner - CCR Party Picks & Pennants
Donuts - Love You a Latte
Slumber Party
Sweet Shop

Most of the paper is Coordinations
The background paper is Best Creations
I also used stickles for the sprinkles!!

For the donut in the right bottom corner, I wanted
it to look like a sugar donut.  So I ran it through my
Xyron face down, and then covered it with
fine glitter.

Can you see where I used the stickers??

The sentiment is perfect, don't you think...LOL
It is from My Pink Stamper
"Sweetest Cupcakes" stamp set.
I stamped it then embossed it
using Pink Zing Glitter Embossing Powder.

I added some crinkle ribbon from
My Craft Spot in Pink Bubblegum.
I also embossed with the
Cuttlebug Spots and Dots Folder.

I hope you like my card as much
as I liked making it.
(it would be better if I could eat the donuts...LOL)

Please be sure to check out what the
rest of the design team made today over at

Don't forget to comment on My Cricut Craft Room,

Cuttlebug folders and even a Cuttlebug!

Christmas Countdown - 3D Object

Today is April 25th, and that means
Christmas Countdown

This month we were challenged
with making a 3D object.

I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 to
make 2 little treat boxes today.

Here is a sneak peek:

This first box was made with the
Cone Box on page 63.
This was cut at 9", I used the
scoring tool to score the lines
before cutting.
I used Coordinations Glittter cardstock.

This was a fairly easy project.
I think I got it done in about an hour.
I embossed the tree with the
Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder.
I added different colored
gems for the decorations
on my Christmas Tree.
I added a topper made with ribbon.
The tag and sentiment
are from My Creative Time
Teeny Tag Greetings.
This box has a little loop at the top
so it would be great to fill with candy
an hang on your own tree!!

Although I am not happy with the way this
project came out, I am still
going to show it to you!!

This box was cut at 5.5" from page 47.
The paper is DCWV.

The phrase was cut at 1"

I could not get the extra snowflake piece
to line up properly!!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by today.
