I used A Quilted Christmas.

I decided to go really simple.
I used the card function.

"Joy to the World" stamp set.
I stamped it onto a label cut out using a
Spellbinders die, and then embossed using
Zing Embossing Powder in gold.

Perky Penguins

Hello all my crafty friends,
today is Theme Day Thursday

The theme today is
"Perky Penguins"

Today I decided to do something
a little different.  A few months ago
I found this great idea HERE
Nadia shows how you can use
Teddy Bear Parade and other cartridges
to make morphed characters.
Today, I made a morphed penguin!!
I used the penguin head from
Animal Kingdom and the body
and outfit from Teddy Bear Parade.
Here is my morphed Penguin Elf!!

I scraplifted the idea and color scheme from HERE
The penguin and body are cut at 3".
The pink layer was cut with
Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles.
I also layered a Nestabling on top.
The white layer was cut
using my paper trimmer and the
corners were punched with a
Martha Stewart punch, then
embossed with the Swiss Dots folder.
The Penguin was
mounted using an action wobble.
I also added some designer trim
from Webster's Pages.

The eyes were stamped using
Peachy Keen's Bird Faces.

The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's
Mistletoe Stamp Set and stamped
onto Tiny Doilies Metal Dies.

Thanks for stopping by.
Please be sure to stop by

Would You Every Guess Wednesday - Snowflakes

Hello all my crafty friends!!
Today is Would You Ever Guess Wednesday
On Wednesdays, the Design Team
is challenged with using anything
but the main image on the page.
This week's theme is SNOWFLAKES!!
We were asked to use a snowflake from
any of the bonus features that
are available on many cartridges.
I used Art Philosophy.

I actually made two cards to share with you today.

This first card was made using the image
from the font layer from page 64!!
This layer was cut at 4.6"
The base is cut at 5" from the
card layer on page 23.

I added a glittered snowflake from my stash
and the sentiment is from the brand new
"Think Snow" stamp set from
My Craft Spot.

I added some pink glitter tulle
a homemade stick pin
and some gems.

This next card was made using the card and
decorative layer from page 27 of the handbook.
The card base was cut at 5"
and the decorative layer was cut at 4.75".

I kept this one simple, only
adding a few gems and somemore
tulle!!  I added a snowflake gem
which was clear, so I covered it
with glue and pink glitter!!

Please make sure to stop over at
to see more snowflake projects.

I want to thank all
of my crafty friends for
visting and leaving me some
love on my blog!
I hope everyone has a blessed
and bountiful Thanksgiving!!

Theme Day Thursday - 3D Purses

Hello my crafty friends!!
Today is Theme Day Thursday over at
and this weeks theme is
3D Purses!!

I used Forever Young and Art Philosophy
for my purse.

Since I have been making nothing but
Christmas projects lately,
I decided to make this purse
Christmas themed too.
I can use it to give a gift card.

The purse was cut at 4.5" from
Forever Young.  I hid the word
that is part of this cut using my gypsy.

I cut the flowers from
Flower Shoppe at 3.5" & 4.5".
I sprayed everything with some
Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Mist
and the added gold stickles
to my flowers.

I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Die
for the piece that I stamped the sentiment onto.
The sentiment is from Jaded Blossoms
Christmas Wishes Stamp Set.
I stamped it with Versamark
and then heat embossed using
Zing Embossing Powder in Rouge.

Thanks for visiting, I hope you
enjoyed my project today.

Letter of the Day - Letter S

Today is Monday, and on Mondays
we do The Letter of the Day,
and today's letter is "S".
We can use a cartridge
that starts with the letter
or an image that starts with the letter.

I chose to use a "S"leigh, from
Paper Doll Dress Up.

You can find this particular
sleigh on page 74 of the handbook.
I cut it twice at 5" wide.
I cut it once in silver
and again in red.

I cut the rails off of the red layer.
I then embossed it using a Sizzix folder.
I spritzed it with some Diamond Glimmer Mist.
Then I glued it on top of the silver layer.
I added some Platinum Stickles.
The presents were cut with
my Creative Memories square punch.

All paper is DCWV.
Still not sure I really like this card,
I think I used too many patterns,
it looks a little too busy.
Oh well, someone on my christmas
card list will still be getting it...LOL.

Make sure you stop over at
to see more projects today.

Nov. 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the November
100 Cartridge Blog Hop with
Can you believe that it is already November!!
Christmas will be here before you know it.
Have you started on your Christmas cards yet??

This month all the DT projects will be
Winter/Holiday related to give
you some inspiration for your
holiday projects.

You should have started at

This month I have used the following 4 cartridges.
Winter Woodland, Snow Friends, Jolly Holidays,
and Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake.

For my first project I used Winter Woodland

I made this card using the card feature
on page 39.  It was fast and simple.
The papers are DCWV and the sentiment
is from K Andrew's Winter Wishes.
I added some stickles to give it some sparkle!

My next project is a Christmas Tag
made using Jolly Holidays
and Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake.

The tag itself is a  the Tag die
from My Creative Time, which I hve embossed
and inked.  The Little Birdie is from
Jolly Holidays cut at 2".
The sentiment is from page 63
of Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake.
This cart has so many holiday related
images and sentiments!!

The papers are from Imaginisce.

My final project is a shaped card.
It is my favorite and was made
with Snow Friends.

I cut the cute little snowgirl at 5".
I welded 2 of the base layer using my gypsy
to form my shaped card.  I then cut a
third base layer to place on top.
I cut two of all the pieces
so that she would have a front
and a back.  The second set
of cuts I flipped using my gypsy
so they would line up properly.
Her face was stamped with
Peachy Keen's Princess Faces.
I think she is just too adorable!!

Here is a side view.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope
I have inspired you to
start your holiday projects!!

Next in the hop is my
sweet DT sister

Here is the entire line up
in case you get lost!!

Theme Day Thursday - use Paper Lace 1, 2 or Ornamental Iron 1, 2.

Hello , today is

Today we were asked to use with Paper Lace,
Paper Lace 2, Ornamental Iron, or Ornamental Iron 2.

I used Paper Lace 2 to
make another Christmas Card!!
When I was scrolling through the handbook
looking for an image to use, I thought the
image on page 33 looked like an ornament.
I cannot recall what size I cut these out at
but I stretched the image on the left side
to get an enlongated image.

I just love the colors I used for this card.
For years I used silver and blue for my
christmas tree, but last year
I bought all new ornaments in bright
colors.  Pink, Purple, Turquoise and Lime Green!!
That is what inspired me for this card.

I used some glitter paper for the top layer of the
ornament and hung them from tinsel string.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time's
Warm Holiday Fun Stamp Set.
I embossed with with Zing Embossing powder,

I also embossed the lavendar paper
and the bottom layer of the ornament
with a Cuttlebug folder, not sure of the name!!

Thanks for visiting, and please make
sure you stop by
to see more great projects!!

and this is the first time I have used it!!

I used the cute little Pooh Head from page 18 of the handbook
cut at 2.5".  The Santa Hat is from page 60 at 1.40".
All the paper I used is from Echo Park Very Merry Christmas
Paper Pack, which I purchased from
I cut the card base at 9" x 4 1/2",
so I ended up with a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"
square card.  The second brown layer
is a Spellbinders Label 18.
The green layer is Spellbinders
Lacey Circles.  Each layer is
popped up with foam squares,
Pooh is mounted on an Action Wobble.

I cover the white trim on the hat with

and Vintage Pine.

were so easy and fast to put together.
All paper is from DCWV Christmas and
Winter Stacks from last year.
