Today is Card Creating Tuesday at
My Cricut Craft Room

you know that we are supproting

We are using PINK in all of our projects.
One of the themes for today was to
create a Cancer Support Card.

I used Forever Young to create my card today.

The bra was cut from page 61 of the handbook at 3.5".
I hid the undies as I only wanted the bra!!
The lacy doily is from Martha Stewart.
I added some gem swirls from Recollections
and lace along the edge.

The sentiments are from K Andrews
Fashionable Freinds stamp set.
I stamped it and then embossed
using Zing Embossing Powder.

Here is a pic of the inside

Card Creating Tuesday - Guardian Angel

Hello, and welcome to another
Card Creating Tuesday with My Cricut Craft Room.
Today is Guardian Angel Day, and we were
asked to use and angel or anything
associated with angels on our project today.
Plus, from now until Oct. 15, we
are still using pink somewhere on our
projects.  I am choosing to display pink
proudly as my mom is a survivor.

For my project today, I used the beautiful Angel
from A Quilted Christmas.  I am really loving this
cartridge.  It has at least 4 different ways to cut
each image.  Love the variety.
I cut my angel and all her layers at 5.75"
All the paper is from my stash, various manufacturers.

I debossed the wings using a Damask Decor
Cuttlebug folder.  I embossed the hair
with Divine Swirls.  I added some Stardust Stickles.
The stuff in the corners is called Shaved Ice from
Stampendous.  It is really cool!!
I added some pearl flourishes.
Here is a close up

Her face was stamped with Peachy Keens
"Laffy Taffy" Face Assortment.
This perfect sentiment was found
on Winter Frolic, it was cut at 1.5"
and higlighted with some more Stardust Stickles!!

May Angels be watching over
you and your loved ones!!

Be sure to check out the other Angel cards

And don't forget this weekend is

I chose to use the Ghost of
Christmas Past from page 41.
She is cut at 4".  Isn't she pretty!!
Here is a close up

I started with a kraft card base.

of Coordinations Glimmer cardstock that

in Worn Lipstick.  I also sprayed it
with some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist.
I added some Icicle Stickles.
I stamped her face with
Peachy Keen's "Laffy Taffy"

Card Creating Tuesday - Sketch

Hello, and welcome to

For today I chose to use the following sketch:

Now, I used the sketch as my inspiration, but I did
not follow it exactly!!
Here is my sneak peak:

I used some shiny cardstock so, the
photograph is not the best.   I don't usually make
this kind of vintage looking card, but
I might have to since I really love the
way this card came out!!

I used Nifty Fifties for the dress, it is cut at 4"
from page 30 of the handbook.
The pattern paper for the dress is from
Webster's Pages.  I love the vintage
look of this paper.  It was just the look
I was going for.  I added some
liquid pearl dots in  Petal Pink.  I also
distress the paper
with Tattered Rose Distress Ink.

For the base of the card, I used an ivory card base
that I distress with Antique Lace Distress Ink.
The next layer was a pale pink paper also
from Webster's Pages.  I embossed it with
a Damask Decor Embossing Folder.
I then added some Tattered Rose Distress Ink.
The next layer is cut from the
Spellbinders Fleur Di Lis Rectangles from
Bazzil cardstock.  The final label was
cut from Spellbinders Label Nineteen.
The paper is DCWV Luxury Stack.

I added 2 pieces of beautiful trim
also from Webster's Pages.  And some
pearls from the dollar bin at Joann's.

Thanks for stopping by today and please make sure
you stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see what
the rest of the design team made today.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges:

Card Creating Tuesday - Sketch

Hello all my crafty friends!!
Today is the last week of June, and my
final sketch.  Let me tell, you this one had
to be the hardest!!  When I saw this sketch, I thought
OMG, I have to make a waterfall card!!
Well I have never made a waterfall or for that fact
any other special type of card. (easel, gate fold, etc.)
So what was I gonna do???  Well to the web of course!!
My first and only stop was Splitcoast Stampers.
If you have never been to this site, you need to check
it out!!  There are all kinds of tutorials.
Here is the one that I used:
At first it looked intimidating, but it ended up being pretty easy
and I am thrilled with the results!!

Here is the sketch:

And here is a sneak peek of my card!!

These sunglasses were cut at .70" from Forever Young.
I added some gems in the corner and
glossy accents to the lenses.

Next, the bathing suit was cut
from Nifty Fifties at 3.40"
I placed each piece on a seperate panel.

Lastly the flip flops are from
Life is a Beach cut at 2".

All the paper except the card base is from
my scrap pile.  The adorable paper used on the
card base is Imaginisce Makin' Waves.
This paper is so cute, and I was lucky enough to
recieve a few sheets, in a recent order from
The sentiment is from K Andrew's Splastastic Summer
I stamped it on to A Spellbinders Classic Large Square.

Here is a quick video showing the action!!
Boy is it hard to record with your phone and
pull the tab on a waterfall card...LOL!!
(man my hands look old...LOL)

I hope you enjoyed my card as
much as I enjoyed making it!!

I have signed up to do the Sketches all this month.
I wanted to challenge myself to try some different things.
I promise, next month, you will see more than
just sketches from me!!

Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is a sneak peak:

For my card today, I used my all time favorite cartridge, Art Philosophy!!
This cartridge is awesome.

The card base and top layer were cut at 5" from page 31
of the handbook.

The paper is used for the base and layerare from Echo Parks
Hello Summer line.  Isn't it adorable!!!  I got it from
Erica's Store.  She has a great selection and great prices.

The polka dot paper is from Doodlebug.
I used Spellbinders Label One die for the center.
The cute little turtle is from Peachy Keen's
June Stamp of the Month kit.
She is mounted on an Action Wobble.
The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's
"Even More Punnylicious" stamp set.
I added some Liquid Pearls Dots
in Buttercup and Rouge.  I just love the new colors.

Card Creating Tuesday - Sketch

So, for today, I have a very simple card for you.
As I indicated last week, for this month,
I signed up for the sketch each week.
I am trying to expand my style...LOL

Here is the sketch we were to use today

This was a very simple card.
The only Cricut cut is the brown
frame piece in the middle.
This was cut using George and Basic Shapes.
I wanted to keep it plain because it is for my husband.
With Father's Day and his birthday both on
Sunday, I needed a couple of cards.
He likes to wear hats, so I thought
this was perfect for him!!

The darling little hat is a die cut
from My Creative Time's
newest release called
"Here's Looking at You".
The sentiment is from the same set.

The background paper is DCWV "Green Tea" Stack.
The ribbon is from my stash.

Thanks for looking and please make sure
you check out what the rest of the
design team made today at

Card Creating Tuesday - Sketch

Hello, my crafty friends!!
This month I decided to challenge myself!!
I get in a rut and seem to use the same
design for my cards.  So this month
I decided to sign up for the
sketch challenge each week!!

This first sketch was really a challenge!!

After seeing this sketch, the first thing I thought of was
bubbles.  But then, I was looking through the stuff I
recently got from out wonderful leader Erica,
and I came across these stickers, there are only a few left!!:

Once I saw these stickers,
I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Here is a sneak peak:

For today's card, I used the following cartridges:
Card Base - Elegant Edges
Banner - CCR Party Picks & Pennants
Donuts - Love You a Latte
Slumber Party
Sweet Shop

Most of the paper is Coordinations
The background paper is Best Creations
I also used stickles for the sprinkles!!

For the donut in the right bottom corner, I wanted
it to look like a sugar donut.  So I ran it through my
Xyron face down, and then covered it with
fine glitter.

Can you see where I used the stickers??

The sentiment is perfect, don't you think...LOL
It is from My Pink Stamper
"Sweetest Cupcakes" stamp set.
I stamped it then embossed it
using Pink Zing Glitter Embossing Powder.

I added some crinkle ribbon from
My Craft Spot in Pink Bubblegum.
I also embossed with the
Cuttlebug Spots and Dots Folder.

I hope you like my card as much
as I liked making it.
(it would be better if I could eat the donuts...LOL)

Please be sure to check out what the
rest of the design team made today over at

Mother's Day Card - Card Creating Tuesday

Hello all my crafty friends!!
So glad you stopped by today to see
what I have made.  The theme this week for
Card Creating Tuesday is Mother's Day.
I have a few Mother's Day cards to
make so this is my first one.

I used the Ole cartirdge for my card today.
I love the beautiful latin inspired images
on this cartridge.
Here is a sneak peak.

This bird can be found on page 28 of the handbook.
I only cut the Shift layer at 1.5".
I hid some of the extra lines that
I did not want on my design.

Next I cut this flower image from
page 28 of the handbook.
I flipped it with my gypsy
and cut all the layers at 3".
I addd Liquid Pearls in Canteloupe
and Mint Green and some Copper Stickles.

This Phrase was cut from page 36 at 2".
I covered the top layer with Patina Stickles.
It means "Happy Mother's Day"!!

All the paper is from DCWV Mango Frost
cardstock stacks.  I added some
Stardust Stickles around the outside.
I used the Paisley Cuttlebug folder
and added some CTMH ribbon in Juniper.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, and please
