Theme Day Thursday - Use Peachy Keen Stamps

Oh I have been waiting for this day!!
The theme for today was to use one of my most favorite things, Peachy Keen Stamps!!
I love, love, love using Peachy Keen stamps on my projects.

I decided to make a St. Patty's Day card, using the
Peachy Keen February Stamp of the Month.
This stamp set is filled with the most
adorable St. Patty's Day images.
Now I used Art Philosophy and
Mini Monograms to make the base of the card.
All other images are Peachy Keen Stamps!!

I cut this window card out with my gypsy by first
putting the scalloped card base
from Art Philosophy on the mat, at 8"w x 9" h.
I then placed 3 scalloped squares on the
front of the card base.
The squares are 2.52" w x 2.8" h.
So the result was a window card!!
Of course I saved the scalloped
squares to use on another project.

Next came the stamping!!  I stamped 2 of the
4 leaf clovers on to green cardstock.
I stamped the hat onto white cardstock and the
face onto a blush colored cardstock.
I colored the hat using my Stampin Up Markers
and highlighted with a metallic gel pen.

I added some glossy accents and chalk to the face.

I outlined the 4 leaf clovers with lime green stickles.
The LUCKY sentiment is also from the same set!!
The pattern paper is from a holiday pack by Papercraft.
The two clovers and the leprechan were
mounted onto action wobbles.I finished the card off
with some crinkle ribbon from Praire Bird Boutique.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, I know it make me smile!!

Thanks for visiting today and please make sure

and every day in December.

Today's theme was to use a PENGUIN!!
Here is my project....

My project was to use embossing powders:

I just love this cutie patootie Penguin!!  Once again, I used Art Philosopy for the card base cut at 7" h x 8.77"w.  The matching frame was cut at 6.6" w x 4.3"h.  The purple cardstock is Coordinations Gemstones.  I dry embossed with my Cuttlebug Snowflake folder and then wet embossed using an embossing pen with clear glitter embossing powder from A La Mode.  It is really hard to see in this picture.  The printed paper is from The Paper Company, it is called Snowflake Medley.

Next, I stamped, colored and die cute the Penguin using Peachy Keens Winter Character with Stocking Hat Kut Outs and the matching Penguin Girl stamp.  This is the first time that I have ever stamped and colored in an image.  I used my stampin up markers for the coloring.  I added stickles and glossy accents.

To finish off the card, I added some purple and white tinsel string from Praire Bird Boutique and a Martha Steewart tag that I sprayed with glimmer mist.  Once again, I used the Crafty Sprouts "Have a Cool Yule" stamp set.

Today's theme was to use SNOW!!
Here is my project....

My project was to make a card:

Now you may notice that this card is similar to the card I made for day 9, well that is because I used all the same supplies!!  I used Art Philosophy and Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridges for this card.  Art Philosophy was used for the card base cut at 5.4" and the frame was cut at 5".  The Polar Bear was cut at 2.2".The shimmer card stock used for the card base and the bear is Coordinations Gemstones.  The printed paper is from DCWV Winter Wonderland stack.  I embossed the cardbase with the Cuttlebug snowfalke folder, and the bear was emobossed with the Swiss Dots folder.

I added snow by tearing some Coordinations Glitter cardstock, and I inked along the tear line with a Studio G ink pad.  I added 2 little bows with Crinkle Ribbon.  I also added a scarf to the bear with some Bakery Twine from My Craft Spot.  I finished my card off with a sentiment from Crafty Sprouts "Have a Cool Yule" stamp set.

Thanks for visiting my blog and come back tomorrow for another project for the 25 Days of December!!

25 Days of December - Day 9 ANIMALS

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room 25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects  day.  Don't forget to stop by
Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.

Today's theme was to use an Animal

Here is my project....

My project was to use the cuttlebug:
I used Art Philosphy and Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge for this card.  Art Philosphy was used for the card base and the frame that the cute little bear is sitting on.  These were cut at 5.4".  The Polar Bear head was cut at 2.2".The shimmer card stock used for the card base and the bear head is Coordinations Gemstones.  The printed paper is from DCWV Winter Wonderland stack.  There is lots of glimmer and shine which you all know is hard to photograph.
You can see the glimmer and shine better in this picture.  The printed cardstock also has glitter.  I embossed the card base with the Cuttlebug snowflake folder.  I highlighted the bears face with my Stampin Up markers, some ink, chalk and used the Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face Parts stamp for his eyes.  He is also mounted on an Action Wobble.  I finished the card off by twisting some crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot and Praire Bird Boutique, as well as some tinsel string also from Praire Bird Boutique.  I added a tag punched and stamped from the Tag set from Stampin Up.

Snowflake Window Card

This will be a quick post.  I am getting ready to leave to go shopping!!  I made this really quick card to enter in a couple of challenges.

I made this card with CTMH Art Philosphy, and CTMH Winter Wonderland paper pack.  I used a piece of glitter cardstock which I pop dotted on the back to give it dimension.  I also pop dotted the front frame.  I added some crinkle ribbon in Vintage Vanilla from My Craft Spot, and the blue is from Praire Bird Boutique.  I added some stickles and gems from Recollections.

The sentiment which is hard to see is from My Craft Spots "Merry Christmas" stamp set, which I won!!
I stamped it with Versamark Dazzle ink, and I went over it in Glitter Gel Pen.  I also doodled little silver snowflakes all over the brown cardstock.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Pointsettia Flower Card

****For My Blog Makeover Giveaway, click HERE****

Hello My Fellow Crafters.

I have been wanting to make a card with a pointsettia on it.  I know I have seen some on other blogs, but could not remember just where I saw one.  So I googled it and low and behold found a great tutorial HERE at My Craft Spot.  And what better timing, this weeks challenge at My Craft Spot is Challenge #34 - Handmade Flower Power!!  Is that a co inky dink or what!!!  Anyway, here is my try at making a pointsettia:

I used Flower Shoppe for the pointsettia.  Here is a close up of the flower.

I used cooredinations cardstock for the flower.  Inked it up with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen.  I spritzed both the leaves and the flowers with glimmer mist and shaped the flower with my Imaginisce Petal Roller. I added a vintage style button for the center.  The background paper and green cardstock is Close to My Hearts "Believe" paper pack.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch and added some Crinkle Ribbon in Vanilla Bean from My Craft Spot.
I finished the card up with a Martha Stewart tag, which I inked with more distress ink and the sentiment is from Sweet Anna Bee Designs "Joy to the World" set.  If you have time check her out HERE.  She is a high school student that has come up with her own line of stamps to help pay for college.  Isn't that a great idea!!
I finished the tag off with some tinsel string from Prarie Bird Designs and some glitter gel pen.

So, of course I am entering this in this weeks challenge at My Craft Spot.

Give Thanks

I have been a busy little crafter today.  I am on vacation this week so I got to spend a few hours in my craft room while my hubby worked on some electrical stuff around the house.  So, I have 3 cards to post tonight.

This first card is a Thanksgiving card, I made to enter in this weeks challenge over at Cricut 360.  The theme this week for Challenge # 12 is Native American Inspiration.  I found this great cut of feathers on the Thanksgiving Seasonal cartridge.  The card base and frame are from the Art Philosopy cartridge.  All the paper is from the DCWV Harvest Stack.  I used the branches cuttelbug folder on the leaves.  I hand cut the tag and the sentiment is from BugBytes "All Year Round " set.  I used some Wild Honey Distress ink and glimmer mist on the tag.  I used two different crinkle ribbon, the orange one is Marmalade from My Craft Spot and the turquosie one is from Praire Bird Boutique.
