Card Creating Tuesday - Guardian Angel

Hello, and welcome to another
Card Creating Tuesday with My Cricut Craft Room.
Today is Guardian Angel Day, and we were
asked to use and angel or anything
associated with angels on our project today.
Plus, from now until Oct. 15, we
are still using pink somewhere on our
projects.  I am choosing to display pink
proudly as my mom is a survivor.

For my project today, I used the beautiful Angel
from A Quilted Christmas.  I am really loving this
cartridge.  It has at least 4 different ways to cut
each image.  Love the variety.
I cut my angel and all her layers at 5.75"
All the paper is from my stash, various manufacturers.

I debossed the wings using a Damask Decor
Cuttlebug folder.  I embossed the hair
with Divine Swirls.  I added some Stardust Stickles.
The stuff in the corners is called Shaved Ice from
Stampendous.  It is really cool!!
I added some pearl flourishes.
Here is a close up

Her face was stamped with Peachy Keens
"Laffy Taffy" Face Assortment.
This perfect sentiment was found
on Winter Frolic, it was cut at 1.5"
and higlighted with some more Stardust Stickles!!

May Angels be watching over
you and your loved ones!!

Be sure to check out the other Angel cards

And don't forget this weekend is
our 100 Cartridge Blog Hop!!

with 25 Cricut projects a day.  Don't forget to stop by
Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.

Today's theme is NATIVITY
Here is my project....
In my opionion, I saved the best for last.  Out of all the cards I made for the 25 days of December, this one is my very favorite.  I love the sparkle of this card and the true meaning of the season.  The wise man and the star were cut from Winter Frolic.  The wiseman was cut at 3.5".  The glitter cardstock is from Coordinations.  I have to say, the Coordinations cardstock is my favorite.  I love the variety it is available in.  Both in color and finish.  It cuts so nice too!!  This card is so simple, but I think it is beautiful!!

For the hills, I tore some cardstock, then crumpled it and inked it up with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  The beautiful sentiment is from My Craft Spots "Merry Christmas" stamp set.  I just the love the beautiful font!!

Well that concludes the 25 Days of December.  I am sad to see it end.  I have had a blast.  I would like to thank Erica for allowing me to be on this seasonal design team.  But guess what my crafty friends??
Erica has asked me to join her Full Time Design Team!!
Woo Hoo, I am looking forward to a
2012 filled with all kinds of crafty Cricut projects!!

I am wishing all my Crafty Friends a VERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Doesn't this look yummy!!  This card was made using the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge.  The cake and all the layers were cut at 4" and the sentiment was cut at 2".  The background paper is from the Paper Company.  I added some glitter tulle and a little bit of tinsel string, and called it done!!

Ornament Swap

****For My Blog Makeover Giveaway, click HERE****

So, I finally spent some time in my craft room yesterday.  I had signed up for my first ever Oranment Swap over at Pink by Design and yesterday was the last day to get them in the mail!!  Here is what I came up with.  I really love blue, silver and white for christmas and I love snowmen and snowflakes, even though I live in Southern California!!

The base of the ornament was cut from Art Philosophy at 6", the top layer was cut at 5.80".  The cute little snowman and his layers is from Winter Frolic, I beleive I cut him at 3".  The paper is from an old DCWV Winter Stack.  I embossed the base layer with the Cuttlebug Divine Swirls folder.

Here is a closeup of the snowman.  I don't know what cart the snowflake is cut from, I had a bunch of them left over from last years cards!!  I used Peachy Keen's Christmas Face Assortment for his face.  I used Stampin Up's Brocade Blue to ink the edges, and added some bling to his scarf.

This tag is from MarthaStewart and the sentiment is from Crafty Sprouts "Have a Cool Yule" stamp set.  I added some glitter gel pen.   I also added some bling from Recollections.
I made the ornament 2 sided, and the snowman is on an Action Wobble.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Papercraft Weekend Challenge - November Inspiration Challenge (Use blue, white & silver)
Craftysprouts - Anything Goes

Happy Crafting!!
