Bunny Tag

Happy Thursday!!
The weekend is almost here
and we are having such beautiful
weather in So. California!!
It is sunny and 80 degrees!!

I made a fun little tag for a few challenges.

I cut this tag from the
The pink piece was another one of my extra cuts.
I beleive it is from Elegant Edges.
I embossed the pink piece with a Sizzix Flowers
and Vines folder. The Bunny is another extra cut.
When I made my Got Eggs?? card, I had
cut the bunny from Birthday Bash in 3" and 2.5"
I used the 3" on the card so I had this
extra one and used it on this tag.
Her cute little face is from Peachy Keens
Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed stamp set.
I added a flower that was wrapped
around a package of ribbon
I got from Little Scrap Pieces.
I added some white stiching and pink chalk.
The sentiment is from
stamp set and the tag is the Stiched Oval Die.
I added 2 buttons from the Stiched Button Dies
and I covered them with glossy accents.
I added some crinkle ribbon from
My Craft Spot & Prairie Bird Boutique
And the trim at the bottom is from Webster's Pages

I will be entering in the following challenges:

Card Creating Tuesday - Any Card

Hello, Today is Card Creating Tuesday.
Today we could make any kind of card we wanted.
I decided to shat with you a card I made
for a recent swap.  For the swap, we were to
make any card,, but it had to include stamping.

I made this card using Artiste and Elegant Edges.

The paper is from CTMH.
I also used some Spellbinders dies.

The stamped sentinment is one of the
stamps included in the Artiste bundle.
I added some Stardust Stickles to give it
some sparkle.  I also inked all papers
with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tea Dye.

I popped each layer using foam squares.

Thanks for stopping by, and please make sure your

Card Creating Tuesday - Sketch

Hello, my crafty friends!!
This month I decided to challenge myself!!
I get in a rut and seem to use the same
design for my cards.  So this month
I decided to sign up for the
sketch challenge each week!!

This first sketch was really a challenge!!

After seeing this sketch, the first thing I thought of was
bubbles.  But then, I was looking through the stuff I
recently got from out wonderful leader Erica,
and I came across these stickers, there are only a few left!!:

Once I saw these stickers,
I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Here is a sneak peak:

For today's card, I used the following cartridges:
Card Base - Elegant Edges
Banner - CCR Party Picks & Pennants
Donuts - Love You a Latte
Slumber Party
Sweet Shop

Most of the paper is Coordinations
The background paper is Best Creations
I also used stickles for the sprinkles!!

For the donut in the right bottom corner, I wanted
it to look like a sugar donut.  So I ran it through my
Xyron face down, and then covered it with
fine glitter.

Can you see where I used the stickers??

The sentiment is perfect, don't you think...LOL
It is from My Pink Stamper
"Sweetest Cupcakes" stamp set.
I stamped it then embossed it
using Pink Zing Glitter Embossing Powder.

I added some crinkle ribbon from
My Craft Spot in Pink Bubblegum.
I also embossed with the
Cuttlebug Spots and Dots Folder.

I hope you like my card as much
as I liked making it.
(it would be better if I could eat the donuts...LOL)

Please be sure to check out what the
rest of the design team made today over at

Card Creating Tuesday - Easter

For today, the design team was asked to make Easter card
using GREEN, YELLOW and one other color.
My third color is PINK

Here is a sneak peak!

For today's card I used Art Philosophy for the card base.
It was cut at 5".  I embossed the base with a
Simply Charmed Cuttlebug folder.
The three frames were cut from Elegant Edges at varying sizes.
The card base and the frames were all cut from
Close to My Heart paper pack called "Sweet Pea".
That is also the name of my Spoiled Dog #1!!

The circle was cut using a Spellbinders die called Lacy Circles.
The was embossed with another Cuttlebug folder.
The paper is Coordinations Color Core cardstock,
which I sanded to bring out the lighter pink color.

Finally this funny little bunny was cut at
3.5" from 3 Birds on Parade.
She was mounted use an action wobble.
Here is a little video to show how she wobbles!!

I followed the card sketch over at
for the Feb/March Card Challenge.
Erica is giving away a Sophie Cartridge for this
challenge, so please check it out!!

I am also entering this card in the My Craft Spot - For The Birds challenge

Theme Day Thursday - Cartridge - Elegant Edges

For today's Theme Day Thursday, we could make a
Seasame Street project or use the Elegant Edges cartridge.
I chose to use Elegant Edges since I do not yet
own any of the Seasame Streets cartridges!!

For this card the two base images are from Elegant Edges.
I thought the layer with the sun cutout
would be perfect for using with my new
Peachy Keen February Stamp of the month.
The first layer was cut at 5.69"w x 4.65" h
The layer with the sun was cut at 4.23"w x 5.4"h
I embossed this layer with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder
The clouds were cut from Create a Critter at 2"
I added some yellow stickles to the sun

The pattern paper was from my scrap pile,
so not sure where it's from!!
All other paper is Coordinations.

Here is a close up of the rainbow which
I stamped and cut out from
Peachy Keen's February stamp of the month set.
I colored the rainbow with my Stampin' Up markers.
As you can see, my coloring has a long way to go!!
I covered the entire rainbow with Glossy Accents to make it shiny.
I embossed the clouds with Cuttlebug's Divine Swirls folder.
The face stamp is from the same Peachy Keen set.

I finished  my card off by tying some twine at the top and adding a sentiment from
My Creative Time's "Teeny Tag Greetings" die and stamp set.
I inked all the edges with my brand new
Sweetheart Inkers from We R Memory Keepers.
I am loving these inkers!!

Please stop by My Cricut Craft Room
to see what the rest of the team has created today.

I am entering this in the Celebrate the Occasion - Challenge #51

Theme Day Thursday - BLING

Today is
over at My Cricut Craft Room, and today's theme is

  Bling Bling Baby

As I was sitting in my craft room, trying to
think of an idea, I saw this

I bought this cute shoe plaque to hang in my craft room as it is the same colors as my room.
I used this shoe as my inspiration for my card today!!
I knew I had the perfect paper to replicate this shoe!!

I usually make 5 x 7 cards, but I decided to make this card a standard A2 size. All the paper I used was from my scrap pile.  The background paper is Coordinations Whitewash cardstock in pink.  I embossed it using a Sizzix folder and then sanded it so the pink comes through.
I also distressed the edges using my CTMH edge distresser.
The shoe was cut from Forever Young.
I used the pair of shoes from page 54, I just hid one of the shoes using my Gypsy.
The shoe and all layers were cut at 4"
Here is a close up of the shoe.
What do you think, did I capture my inspiration??

For the label, I used Elegant Edges, the image was from page 67.  I manipulated it with my Gypsy to cut at 1.56" w x 3.3" h, and turned it on it's side.

The sentiment is from My Creative Times
"Classy & Fabulous" stamp set.
I added a little twine, some ribbon, and lots of bling!!

I sure hope you enjoyed my card today, and please make sure you step on over to My Cricut Craft Room to see what the rest of the wonderful design team has created today!!

100 Cartridge Blog Hop

Welcome to the 100 Cartridge Blog Hop.

My Cricut Craft Room 100 Cartridge Hop

If you are joining me from Laurie's Blog, then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to visit my blog today, then please make sure you check out Erica's blog at
My Cricut Craft Room to start at the beginning.

There are so many talented ladies in today's hop.  This is day two of the hop, so be sure to check Erica's Blog for yesterday's hop list.

So, I was a little over ambitious and signed up for 5 cartridges!!  I signed up for Art Philosophy (my favorite cart), Elegant Edges, Sweet Treats, Sweethearts and Ultimate Creative Cartridge Sampler

I made 3 cards, one using Sweet Treats, one using Sweethearts, and then the last card I used, Art Philosopy, Elegant Edges and Ultimate Creative Sampler.

Now, on to my projects!!

For this card, I used Sweet Treats.

I cut this super cute card using the card feature.   I cut the card and all the layers at 5.5"
The PP is Imanginise Sweet Cheri line.  I cut the tag using a Stampin Up punch and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper "Sweetest Cupcakes" set.

For this next card I used the card feature on the Sweethearts cart.
It was super quick and easy to make!!

This card was so hard to photograph, because of the glitter paper.
This card was one simple cut, I cut it at 5.13" H.  I saved the cut out piece of cupid to use on another project.  I used kraft cardstock, and then a piece of red glitter cardstock was glued to the back.  I embossed it using the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folder.  I used distress ink to the card base.  The sentiment is from My Creative Times "100% Sweetness" set.  I finished it off with some crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot and a rhinestone corner.

For my last card, I actually used 5 different cartridges!!

This is a Valentine's card, but I decided to use non-traditional colors.  The paper is from DCWV Lemon Flower Stack.  I love this stack.  Actually I could even use this as an anniversary card, since my anniversary is Feb. 6th!!  The card base was cut from Art Philosophy at 7" H.  The pretty heart border was cut from Elegant Edges at 7"w x 1" h.  The heart was cut from the Ultimate Creative Sampler at 4.7" h.  The arrow came from Gypsy Wanderings and the sentiment came from Wild Card.  I finished it off with some rhinestone swirls and crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot and some distress ink.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects, your next stop is: Kym

25 Days of December - Day 15 TREES

Erica's Design Team
Welcome to Erica's Craft Room 25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects  day.  Don't forget to stop by
Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.

Today's theme was to use a TREE.
Here is my project....

My project was to use the Cuttlebug:

Guess What, I did not use Art Philosophy today!!!   LOL   Today I used Elegant Edges, but only for the frame that the tree is sitting on.  I cut the frame at 4" W x 5.6"H.  I also embossed this frame using a Quick Kutz embossing foder.  I went over the embossing with the Versamark Dazzle ink pad in Frost.  The tree was embossed using the Cuttlebug Tree folder.  I have had this folder for a long time and this is the first time I have used it.  All the paper is from Close to My Hearts "Believe" paper pack.  I embossed the tree and then went over it with a dark green Studio G stamp pad.  I added some Xmas Red Stickles and some red gems.  To finish off the card, I added this fun Celebrate It Ribbon fom Michaels.  Thanks for visiting!!

Happy Crafting!!

Ornament Swap

****For My Blog Makeover Giveaway, click HERE****

So, I finally spent some time in my craft room yesterday.  I had signed up for my first ever Oranment Swap over at Pink by Design and yesterday was the last day to get them in the mail!!  Here is what I came up with.  I really love blue, silver and white for christmas and I love snowmen and snowflakes, even though I live in Southern California!!

The base of the ornament was cut from Art Philosophy at 6", the top layer was cut at 5.80".  The cute little snowman and his layers is from Winter Frolic, I beleive I cut him at 3".  The paper is from an old DCWV Winter Stack.  I embossed the base layer with the Cuttlebug Divine Swirls folder.

Here is a closeup of the snowman.  I don't know what cart the snowflake is cut from, I had a bunch of them left over from last years cards!!  I used Peachy Keen's Christmas Face Assortment for his face.  I used Stampin Up's Brocade Blue to ink the edges, and added some bling to his scarf.

This tag is from MarthaStewart and the sentiment is from Crafty Sprouts "Have a Cool Yule" stamp set.  I added some glitter gel pen.   I also added some bling from Recollections.
I made the ornament 2 sided, and the snowman is on an Action Wobble.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Papercraft Weekend Challenge - November Inspiration Challenge (Use blue, white & silver)
Craftysprouts - Anything Goes

Happy Crafting!!

New Baby

This next card I made for a good friends new granddaughter.  The baby is already a couple of weeks old, so I am really late with this card.  They live in San Antonio, so I need to get this package in the mail.  I used Baby Steps for the baby cuts and Elegant Edges for the scalloped frames.  The background paper is from Imanginise.  I added ribbon in Pink Bubblegum from My Craft Spot, and some blingy little dots.  I used the Spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder and inked a little with a pink stamp pad.  The face is from PK Wide Eyed Kids stamp set, and added glossy accents to the eyes.

I also made a matching gift card holder using my brand new Gift Card Holder Die from My Creative Time and also used her Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.  Love this die, I will be using it over and over!!

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

My Craft Spot -  Monday Challenge #26 - Ribbon
Celebrate the Occassion - Challenge #32!!  "Any Occasion (must use ribbon)"!!!!

Blue and White Dress Card

So here is my 2nd card for a challenge this week.  I made the card for the Celebrate The Occasion  # 23, Blue and White, and the Birthday Sundaes Challenge #19.
I love the way this card turned out.  The dress is from Forever Young.  The frame is from Elegant Edges and the little label is from Lacey Labels.  The printed paper is from DCWV 'Green Tea" stack.  I found this and a few other stacks for $5.99 at Marshall's!!  What a steal, I think I picked up a total of 6 different stacks.
The shimmer cardstock is Coordinations.  I used some Waterfall Stickles and a few Recollections gems.

Here is a close up of the dress and a side view to show the dimension.  I used lots of foam tape!!
