First of all I want to wish everyone a
very safe and happy 4th of July!!
So for today's project at My Cricut Craft Room
I chose to use the technique, and this weeks
technique was to use the Sew Easy, Sew Stamper
or Sew Ribbon. I chose the Sew Stamper.
I bought my Sew Stamper a few months ago and have never
used it, so I thought this was my opportunity!!
Here is a sneak peak
We went to a retirement party over the weekend,
for one of the guys at my husband's work.
It was a western themed, party, so my hubby asked me to make a
western card. I chose this adorable cowboy from
3 Birds on Parade, cut at 4".
The Sew Stamper only comes with black ink.
Erica, taught us a great technique.
Once you stamp your project, pour
embossing powder over your stiches
and then heat set with a heat gun,
and voila, you have your stiches in any
color you want!
I used a really cool embossing enamel that I got
in a recent order from Erica's Craft Room Store.
It is copper embossing enamel from
Stampendous. It has different colors in it.
Very cool!!
The "Wanted" paper is from the
Cowboy Up paper stack from Best Creations.
I thought it was perfect!!
I cut it down to fit the card, and inked
the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
I added some eyelets in the corners and some twine.
Anyway, as you can see, I used
the Sew Stamper to stamp the stiches
around the base of the card.
My lines are a little crooked, but
I will practice using my Sew Stamper
because I really like the way it came out.
Thanks for stopping by today,
